Have been rooting my P6 with TWRP for over a year now without issues, only once iv had problem when I updated the supersu app from store, but I uninstalled the update and it went back to work.

hi all
i have problems with rooting b708 rom
i tried kingo root ,root genius and iroot methods
plz help me i need it
previously i was rooted using root genius and vroot on b510 and b512

only way to root is from TWRP restart menu
to install TWRP u need to follow next steep:
1. enable on phone USB debugging. enter setting->about phone and press six times on build number, press back enter developer options and activate USB debugging(connect phone to PC in PC Suite mode).
2. install ADB installer in PC from here http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=2588979
3. download TWRP from here http://xdaforums.com/show....php?t=2709353
4. TWRP install:
In folder where u downloade openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0.img press shift+click right and open command window here.
boot your device in bootloader mode by : adb reboot bootloader
Allow usb debugging on phone and check allways allow this computer
flash custom recovery : fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0.img
reboot your device : fastboot reboot
5. while phone restart press volume down+volume up to enter TWRP
enter rebot menu, press system button and swype to root.
After phone restart you need to update SuperSU. Enter SuperSU installer and press play Button, from google play press update button.

Hi
I have a HN3-U01 Huawei honor 3

With the previous versions of android on my phone rooting was easy with Kingo
Now i'm on the latest update B530 (KK4.4.2)
But no rooting program works?

Anyone any ideas?

I only found a chinese TWRP that worked, but since my knowledge on chines is non-existent i can't use it...

Maybe you can look an english version (screenshot) the buttons are at the same place. Just look at the version.

For root you just need to select Reboot > System and you will have a popup saying if you want to root the phone.

Thanks for the tip...
But i soft bricked my phone in the process...
I'm trying to flash different roms ( but all on 4.2) and i'm getting bootlooped all the way... and i'm not android savvy enough to figure out what i'm doing wrong...
Might be time to use my one+ invite...

you can't take a custom recovery made for 4.2 (JB) when you have 4.4 (KK) installed as OS..
so it looks like you need to flash back your stock (original) recovery from your actual running version (look for huawei update extractor how to get stock img-files from an update.app)..
how to flash stock img just search the forum, almost any thread has a post where it is described how-to..

you have a honor hn3-u01 - maybe there is actually no running custom recovery for your phone out there (if so then it is cn version or ru version)..

thanks for all the info.
UPDATE: I finally got a original rom from a chines forum ( i ordered mine from china, since they aren't released in Europe)
and got it working again. Now i'm updating it back to the part where it got wrong and try all over again... At least now i know how to repare it

The chines TWRP had a whole other ui than every TWRP picture i've ever encountered... but trial and error makes me learn... ooh android, so much fun and frustration in one little package

p6s root

I have huawei p6 s-u06 B606
I have tried all four methods to root p6s but nothing.
Sometimes it says that it is rooted and after a reboot still nothing.
What can i do? is it any other method?

When I try to access to twrp recovery by pressing volume + & volume - & power button at the same time the following message appears:
Software intall failed! Get online help from Http://www.emui.com

The same thing happend when i try to root the phone with these four methods.
What is wrong? what can i do?

Enable debug mode by going to Settings and selecting the menu about then tapping 5 times on the build number
Check the developer mode and enable debug mode
Connect your Huawei Ascend P6 to your PC via the supplied cable
In the notification bar select MTP mode
Launch the application SRS One Click Root
Click the Root Devices (All Methods) button
Let them do the application and follow the instructions
Huawei Ascend P6 Rooted !

DOWNLOAD IMPACTOR
Save it to HDD.
Disable antivirus ( just to avoid headaches ) till finish.
Extract ZIP, Open Impactor.exe.
Choose: # drop SuperSU su to /system/xbin/su

Done - you have rooted P6
