For how long? I've tried holding it for probably 10 seconds, someone's it does, sometimes not.

The other issue is that the Bluetooth randomly shuts off and won't turn on again until reboot.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2

So far, every 4.2 rom I've tried has the bluetooth issue you listed above. I think people on other devices (like the Nexus) have also reported problems. There might be nothing CvD or anyone can do about it. Of course, I haven't tried every 4.2.2 rom, so I could be wrong.

I remember this being a common issue on paranoid for the nexus 7. Doesn't bother me because I don't use it so not really sure if there was a fix eventually implemented, or not.

installed the ROM worked great until I went to make a call and the phone rebooted. Then I realized I should have installed UCMC1 radio. So I downloaded, cleared cache and installed the zip file. Rebooted and same result, when I try to make a call the phone reboots. Any idea?

Maybe try a full wipe and reinstall the ROM. There are still RRs present in the latest version. I should have time tomorrow to get caught up on the progress made there by cyanogen and chopsticks. Just been busy the past few days with family stuff.

You can always stick with 1.05 as your daily if necessary. The zip is in my goo downloads.

About Fixing Permissions

There was some sort of a debate or misunderstanding (let's call it confusion) about when we should fix permissions lately.

I just had an interesting behaviour with TWRP 5 minutes ago while flashing BeanStalk 1.210.

I did that:
- Backup of old ROM
- Factory reset
- Install ROM and gapps
- Wipe cache / dalvik
- Fix permissions

I had an error message on Fix permissions.

Fix Permissions Complete
Failed

......

Updating partition details...
Can't check permissions after Factory Reset.
Please boot rom and try again after you reboot into recovery.
Done.

Not a big deal, just wanted to share the info. So maybe the initial CVD instructions were right after all!

Now I'll reboot and check if the ROM is working OK.

;)

You cantfix permissions after a factory reset, there are no permissions to fix. You have to boot first.

Is anybody else having issues depositing checks with bank of America app on this rom? I never had any issue with it on any other rom but here after I take the picture of the check it's like it's zoomed in and cropped so it says bad photo try again. I have tried searching for a solution everywhere but have come up with nothing. It's almost as if the app is using the camera incorrectly or something.

I understand, this is exactly what the error message tells me. But please continue reading this post. I'll try to explain what I tried to point out.

If CvD says it believe it. He knows more than you or I.

Yeah I know. From the contributors on this forum, cvd is probably the one I respect the most. He's respectful and always have a positive attitude. I am only trying to share what I experienced.

Please look at that extract from the op and read my comment under that.

Instructions
  • Download ROM
  • Download GAPPS package
  • Reboot into recovery (TWRP Recommended)
  • TWRP: Wipe Cache / Factory Reset Note: Strongly recommended if you are flashing on top of a different rom. Not necessary for flashing any updates.
  • TWRP: Install ROM
  • TWRP: Install Your Desired Gapps Package
  • TWRP: Wipe Cache Partition (not required really, but good practice)
  • TWRP: Wipe Dalvik Cache (not required really, but good practice)
  • TWRP: Fix Permissions
  • Reboot
  • Setup google account (if applicable)
  • Let your apps sync (if applicable)
  • Fiddle, tweak & configure to your heart's content

If you look at the instructions from the op, you'll see that there is no step between wipe dalvik and fix permissions. As I stated, I got an error message and I completely understand why I got that.

I just wrote my previous post because if you look back in this thread, you'll see that someone was asking a question about when to perform the "fix permissions" step. Some posts were written and I know CVD edited the op.

What I am saying is that there is a missing step between the wipe and the fix permissions.

I read every post. I think I even remember CVD telling that we could fix permissions before the first boot. Not 100% sure though :). And I don't want to start a debate on that.:D

As I wrote, it's not a big deal. It did not stop me, I was able to continue.

Keep up the good work. \m/

Not just you. Might be a 4.2.2 issue, I have it on this Rom and had it on another. Workaround is to put check in the top left corner. Takes some trial and error, but you can make it work.

Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Ok guys, Update.
It seems that something of yet unknown origin has corrupted the CM10.2 source. I noticed it on one of my tests and it was confirmed later on. Could be kernel, recovery, file system. It's proving tough to figure out.
So basically we have to slow up a bit and wait.
The good news is that it shouldn't take too long. I'm still on one of my original builds with no major issues. Also, when this is resolved, I should be able to have a nice fresh BeanStalk 4.3.00 done and out to everybody within an hour or so of when the all clear is out. I'M READY!!! lol
Thanks everybody for hanging in there waiting for your new BeanStalk.

Well folks, got some good news and some bad...... The bad first???
Ok, development on Beanstalk/Android 4.2.2 has finalized. 1.300 is going to be a FINAL.
Good news???? Your all just going to have to settle for Beanstalk/Android 4.300!!!! lol
I have it booting and it looks good so far. Really good! Good by Camera and hello "Focal"!
