Edited startup.txt "rel_path=NativeSD" and deleted "data_size=256"
Edit; Data not working but I guess we are waiting for PPP update, wifi works
Edit2; scratch that data working ok, just took time to show itself.
Will try to start from clean sd and install recovery

So are you saying that rmnet works on android without Magldr??
Can you zip up these files and post them ?

Thanks m8.

Data and wifi working.
WP7 seems unaffected.

I cannot get root access - did you? Super SU gives a message that binary needs updating and the update fails every time... possibly related to access to system?

And I was already suprised that rmnet just worked out of the box with booting from SD method....

I am really confused now.. can you download the app 'quick system info pro' from the market and check your connection is rmnet ?

Or maybe someone with more knowledge of the HD2 history can explain us why PPP has always been default for sd roms???

I came a bit late to the show with the HD2 and flashed Magldr+android to nand on the first day I had this device and never looked back.. so I am missing quite some history for that matter... please enlighten me !

I think it has to do with Portadroid only able to use ppp
I might be wrong

Hmmm.. I hope someone knows the answer.. and what about sd roms that weren't ported with portadroid ?

Anyway...this changes things once again

I will make an extra option to choose between rmnet and PPP connection during installation for NAND as well as SD-EXT installation.

PPP connection should work no matter what boot method is used and that way people can decide for themselves what connection they want to try/use..

i think that ppp connection on sd android roms is the only option we have from july 2010,when we started to run android from sd.Rmnet came when magldr came.I remember that it has to do something with our radio part, because it is wm radio.
