Guys when someone post a problem regarding link2sd, "use mount2sd" is not a solution. Not all people wants to link all those apps to sd.
Not always. In this case he said that there is no space free when using link2sd. It is normal. Link2sd moves only files regarding to certain apps. So it levaes still som files on phone. For ex.
The same apps:
Link2sd: 200mb free after moving apps to sd ext.
Mount2sd: 350 free after moving whole folders.

About question how to configure link2sd it was told 100 and more times here but:
- Create ext partition with pc or via cwm. You choice.
- Enter cwm, mounts and storage, mount sd-ext.
-Boot phone, install link2sd,
- Open it.
- Activate ext partition
- Reboot
- Mark which one you want to move and choose "Link selected apps" yup "link" not "move to sd"

And all should be ok. I always did it that way and worked flawlessly. If still wont be enough space for you than use Mount2sd app.
If you want to install big size games or something than use data2ext script or something but it is not working properly.

About this build. It is working flawlesly. If mike will improve this rom even more I will start to call him " MAGICIAN"

I installed the latest nightly on my Ray, together with the recommended minimal gapps, comming from the nightly of 6.9.
I did the complete installation procedure (extract boot.img, flashed boot.img, formatted system, data and cache, did wipe data / facory reset and installed the zip file and gapps). There was no problem with the installation.
But after starting the contacts app, it stops after a few seconds.
The log file from the LX directory is attached.

Contacts ('People' app) working fine here. I browsed through a few of my contacts - no problem.
I upgraded to the latest build yesterday evening, and used the 'Nano' Gapps pack from here:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2397942

Ah, wifi authentication is fixed too.

So far, so good - can't find any problems with this rom. ;)
Outstanding work from Mike!

Additional info, to check if your partition is working check from menu>strorage info. "SD Card 2nd Partition" should be mounted and filled.

Try use search feature on this thread, why do you want to disable zram? It better leave it on, better multitasking for me.

Sorry, but I don't know where is zram partition in ? because I think Zram partition is on SDcard ,but my SDcard is class 2 (very slow) and I also use mounts2SD .So I want to disable Zram for speed to open app.
IF Zram partition is on internal ,so is no problem .I will happy to still use Zram

If you use the paid upgrade you can also move data files, which frees up about 100MB more on /data/

First impression - latest nightly

Hi all,

i've upgraded last night to
  • cm-11-20141006-UNOFFICIAL-LegacyXperia-iyokan.zip
  • GApps Minimal Edition 2014-10-05 GPS 034 [240 DPI] (26 MB) from here
and my first test was to check if bluetooth is still causing wakelocks. So far i'm able to say:
  • Problem solved!
I've tested the following scenarios:
  • Enable, then disable without connecting
  • Enable, auto-connect to car hifi, stream music, then disable bluetooth
After a while with screen off i've checked for deepsleep with bbs, and yes, deepsleep works!

Also i've got no problem with contacts etc., browsing in contacts is possible without any fc's.
Finally it seems to be even smoother while swiping, opening apps etc.

Big Thanks to all the devs!!!

Ext2 is stable but little slower than ext4, more prone to data corruption but gives less stress to sdcard.

Ext4 is faster, stable, less prone to data corruption but may shorten your sdcard lifespan.. It is your choice what you want. I have been using ext4 for2 years without much problems.

F2FS, or flash friendly file system, which is also supported by link2sd, is faster than ext4 and also friendly to sdcard lifespan. It is the ideal file system for sdcards as ext4 was originally made for hard drives. But unfortunately f2fs is not supported by our kernel. Some devs like Nexus 5 have managed to backport f2fs support to Linux kernel 3.4( f2fs support came to Linux kernel 3.8 onwards only)..

Your choice ext2 or ext4?

    Here's a status update:

    - Rebased & cleaned up the new audio HAL
    - Some fixes ported from msm8660 audio HAL
    - Fix in audio HAL for VOIP apps like Skype and Line
    - Fixed coconut stereo speakers
    - Testing some changes from CAF jb_2.5.3 branch in frameworks/av related to LPA audio issues
    - Testing some camera changes again, should be the most stable we can have at the moment
    - Disabled 720p again. It's unstable and needs more testing. Will work on it again after the first ION build release
    - Testing change to fix "bootlogo appearing while in android" bug
    - Tested FM and made some additional changes but still don't get audio. Will work on it again after the first ION build release
    - Kernel: some interactive governor updates
    - Kernel: increase ION_MM size. Should fix out-of-memory issues with some apps like netflix

As usual, I push all my changes on github so you can test building.
I would appreciate if you don't share any more home builds here, I will release some builds myself when some more bugs are ironed out.
