Great Job!

1)I disabled the wifi sleep (which makes it run all the time)
2) I added cpu tuner to make it run a bit faster (the response time has significantly reduced)
3)Trackball button awake still doesn't work (is this a ics feature/problem)?
4)is camera broken because of egl? Perhaps we should look into the wildfire for egl help...(not sure whether they have it.)

Thanks for your work,
Rohit

If you didn't notice, there's CPU settings built in to the rom
Drowning kernel also works too, but wifi may not with it (didn't when I tried it)

Trackball wake isn't implemented into CM9 yet..

No, camera doesn't work because HTC/Qualcomm doesn't want to either: release current source so devs can update it for ICS, or update it themselves for ICS.
There are ones made that work somewhat, but none of them 100%
Wildfire ICS doesn't have EGL, just the default software rendering ones (which are already being used here)

I love ics but I have a long commute to work so Pandora is a must for me. All it does is just keep skipping the track in ics but works fine if I revert to gingerbread. Any ideas?

Looked at the logcat, and Pandora seems to be using videos to play music... O_o
It's trying to use OMX, and from what I've gathered from the internet, it's a video encoder/decoder..
Logcat also is saying it's trying to load an mp4.

Looks like videos will need to be fixed before Pandora will work (and I'm pretty sure EGL needs to come before videos)

This makes perfect sense, using the hardware decoder to decode a mobile audio stream. I wouldn't explicitly say 'videos' since mp4 is also designed to house audio only in the container, but the decoder most likely relies on the video chipset.

Great work keep it up! I'd like to see ICS on this little guy

Great work on this Winsuk, ireally love gloating ICS on my little aria to my friends and their SGSII, and stratospheres and such. Just when i had my OG droid on verizon and i had the newest OS running on that too. I love developers.

Minor update uploaded...
ALPHA 2.2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?pc22g4z8ceqzgg1
--- SD-EXT (with S2E) working great
--- Enabled signal icon to show H (when available)
--- CM Team added stuff: status bar brightness control now functions, etc
--- Behind-the-scenes changes that may help with getting EGL

S2E isn't available on the Market for ICS, so I built it myself from source (version 1.0.0):

Hmm... I tried it with another android phone (2.2, moto blur) and it worked fine both ways... Tried it with my PC in Ubuntu and it didn't work, but bluetooth on Ubuntu hasn't worked very well anyway.
Just tried it in Windows and file share on the PC is disabled, but I can send files from the phone..

Maybe try a different device and see how it works? Or something.. I dunno..
If it still isn't working I'll look into it...

PS - Sound streaming works pretty good in stereo too I think..

It worked well with sending the Gchrome beta apk from my Gnex to my Aria. Although the nexus only showed up as what looked to be a MAC adress for the device name on the aria. as for other devices i dont have anymore to test.

Edit: google chrome for android FC'd on me =\
