Hello everyone,

I've compiled a collection of boot animations from different pages on XDA forums for your enjoyment

I've optimized most of them for the HTC One X (no blurred edges) & editing certain parts of the video out to make it more relevant to the device.

I can't get mine to work, it is rooted and I see the Nexus Bootanimation in Data/local but it still boots with the Att logo?

Every Rom has a different location. I'm not sure which directory yours is using.

Great job on the bootanimations!!

I've just become the proud owner of a new One X and I'm thinking of changing my bootanimation. I used to have one running on my DHD called 'Tsar bomb' but I can't find anything similar for the One X.

Can anyone help?

Goes in system/customize/resource folder if I remember correctly.. need to rename it ATT_bootanimation.zip.

It seems to be your lucky day, with great difficulty I found one in 720p format with no watermarks on the video. Looks amazing. There was one on YouTube but the guy had stolen it from somewhere else and placed his watermark all over the beautiful video. When I get a chance over the next couple of days ill port it and upload it for everyone to enjoy.

Oh and btw before I forget it has sound so ill try and port that into a boot sound file to go with the animation

Have you got root explorer?

Try these locations:

data/local
system/customize/resource
system/media

Have to enable read/write in root folders.

There's a bit of lag but I don't mind, it still looks better then it ever did on my DHD.

Yeh I noticed the lag too but I tried to keep the file size down hence less frames. I might make another later with more frames but try to give the jpg's a bit more compression.
