guys if you really want to find out the soultion to shot length earphone you must search for the older earphones of Sony Ericsson

Do the Sony MH-700 earphones have an asymmetrical cable?
I need to be able to leave them hanging round my neck when used with the MW600.

its working perfectly fine for me and while nt using im leaving them hanging around my neck best replacement seriously
