Hello fellow X10 owners,

I am fully aware that there are numerous ICS Themes already available for our beloved veteran X10 :p, but I can assure that mine will - by far - offer the best usage experience; as it is simply an all-inclusive theme !! :D

To make it short, just look at the preview screenshots below :)

screenshots.jpg

Here’s a brief description about what was moded / changed in V1.0

- changed the global background to full black
- changed the lockscreen to a single button ICS style one
- changed the app icons of most system apps (with a brand new compiled ICS style alarm icon)
- totally replaced stock calculator app, messaging app and the default keyboard
- changed the bottom menu bar of the stock alarms clock to full black & the clock widget
- added a new second ICS analogue clock widget
- changed the dialer, call log, contacts & favorites icons, background & buttons
- changed the infiniteview & some of the calling/incoming call background & buttons
- changed the status bar layout
- changed the image when you plug in the device to a USB mass storage
- replaced the icons in the power button options
- changed the settings menu icon of xLoud & Bravia add-on to match ICS theme

Here’s a brief description about what was moded / changed in V1.1
- changing the page indicators & some settings icons in Home launcher
- new bootscreen from the upcoming ICS of Xperia S
- more ICSish work to phonebook & related apks
- ICSish makeover for the stock alarm clock
- ICSish Google search widget

* WARNING! *
It is highly recommended to make a full backup before installing this theme as it will replace many system files & apps

* DISCLAIMER! *
I am NOT responsible for any damage or whatever happens to your phone!!!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1:

Boot into xRecovery then Wipe Cache Partition & Dalvik Cache

Step 2:

Flash the following file in xRecovery:

Previous version V1.0: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60091664/ICS-ThemeV1.0.zip

OR ** NEW Version** V1.1: http://www.gkassar.com/XDA/ICS-ThemeV1.1.zip

Step 3:

Wipe Cache Partition & Dalvik Cache again then Reboot

Recommended Add-on:

If you are encountering Force Closes in Sound & Brightness settings & ur on Wolf's ROM, then you need to flash the following file in xRecovery:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60091664/xLoud&Bravia-ICS.zip

If you are NOT on Wolf's ROM, then flash the following file instead:
http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=917907&d=1330104791
(thanks to kalel29)

Suggested Add-ons (as seen in the home screenshot):

A remake of ICS Chroma background with better resolution & crispier colors:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60091664/ICS-Chroma HD.jpg

A nice ICS search widget - it used to be in the Market but for some reason it retired, so here’s the .apk for it:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60091664/Custom ICS Search 1.0.1_3.apk

A simple & clean weather widget, still available in the market, but here’s the .apk anyways:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60091664/Fancy Widgets 3.5.5_21.apk

Of course & needless to say, I did not make this theme from scratch.
In fact, most of it is based on other XDA members’ threads, posts & instructions.
So, here's is a recognition for XDA members who helped me directly thru tips, hints & support or contributed indirectly thru their threads & posts:

donjamal for his great theme on which my theme was initially based + his help, tips & support
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1390346

alzbac for several resources ported from his DonutHD2.1 ROM
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1375413

Wolfbreak for several resources ported from his Wolfs TW Gingerbread ROM V7b6
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1192988

Xerovius for his custom ICS clock font in the lockscreen
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1466541

SEMPITERNAL for the power menu icons & USB connected images from his X.HC 1.0 Eternity 1.1 theme
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1198331

nielneal for Xperia boot animation

Looks very nice

But,Dude,no offence, but that build.prop to fix the FC for the ones that have Xloud and Bravia, its a complete build.prop from Wolf´s 7.0 Rom

so if anyone is using another rom, this fix will completely modify its build.prop and break the adjustements it has for the rom they are using.(even for stock ones)

the only lines that you need are:

#For Bravia
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1

# For xLoud
ro.semc.xloud.supported=true

dont need to use the whole build.prop,so you may edit your OP and put that the fix its for ones using Xloud and Bravia, and inside the .zip just use the build.prop with only this lines
its just a suggestion

I'm on stock 2.3.3 ROM(3.0.1.G.0.75) and DooMKernel.

A lot of force closes upon boot-up. I did wipe cache, dalvik cache and fix permissions.

Can someone with stock 2.3.3 ROM and Leaf GB ROM test it?

well I know that & mentioned it it the thank you list, but the thing is that I don't know how to edit code :)
my entire theme is based on photoshoping icons & photos that I scouted from other fellow XDA members
if you may plz help me by making the necessary adjustments & posting a fix for non-wolf users
I would greatly appreciate that & add it to the original post
thanks in advance

well my friend - I donno, but I think it might be related to the kernel...
I have personnaly tested the theme on SE stock & Wolfbreak' stock based & alzbac' DonutHD stock based ROMs: no problems at all ... but note that I am on a locked BL with stock kernel

can u plz try - just as a temp test of course - to make a full backup then full wipe + cache + dalvik cache and fix permissions then flash the theme & test:

---> if no more FC, than maybe one of ur installed apps / data is not quite happy with my theme :)
---> else, if the FC persisted; then it might be a kernel issue or something else :)

UPDATE: I just noticed that some people tested it on doomlord's kernel & had no issue at all, but running wolf's ROM ... so ... I donno ???

I'm using the theme for 2 days and no problems at all... I'm liking a lot. Just a suggestion, (i think u got the lockscreen from some place else, but anyway) when u slide and unlock, the locker icon appears at the center again before the home screen show up... its not so nice...

Sent from my X10i using XDA App

yup I got it from alzbac DonutICS update for his DonutHD ROM but moded it a little bit by adding the )) sliding animation & glowing effect & changing the unlocked icon

I noticed that, but I really have no idea how to solve it
but btw if u look carefully, even the stock SE lockscreen has this issue but its not very obvious as the sliders colors are darker

You dont need to know how to,just extract build.prop from the fix,(for Bravia and xloud) without extracting all the .zip.just drag and drop the .build.prop thats inside
open it with notepad or notepad++ and delete all the lines and just keep the ones i mention, then save it,delete the build.prop inside the .zip and just put the new one by droping it in,and thats all. its like copy and paste.

oh well,i attached the fix.hope its useful.

i faced the same problem first, so i will tell you step by step what should you do:
first you should be on xperia stock theme, but here you cant flash this ics theme coz in the stock theme you dont have the notificaion bar.

so before u flash this ics theme flash the attached file, here you will be able to have notifiations in your rom.

after flashing the attached file you can flash the ics theme here, you'll have no force close and no problems you'll face for sure.

follow these steps and, tell me if you faced any problem. I'll be glad to help.

    Thank you darkylight.

But i have endless problems after flashing.
After I enter my pin-code of the simcard, every app is crashing bevor I even can do something and then the phone is rebooting..
everything is crashing. bluetooth, framework, gmail and so on.

any idea what i could do to fix that?

    edit:

    Same as here:
