Hello. I'm wondering if I could get some advice. I installed this ROM today per day he instructions, and I'm getting 1 to 2 second lag coming from launcher as well as a very choppy experience when navigating around the phone. With how smooth everyone is saying this ROM is, I'm not thinking I may have done something wrong. What should I try first? I wiped everything 3 times, then installed ROM, then gapps. Also changed to mazwoz jb kernel with no change.

OK I think JellyBelly v6: Ultimate Edition is done... I'm gonna continue to run it tonight and I will post it tomorrow. I made a LOT of changes from the test ROM and even more if you're coming from v5. This one is gonna blow you guys away... Especially if you're coming from an older version or if you haven't tried this ROM. I can't wait to release it! But I gotta make sure it's perfect cuz this is my baby. Change log here:http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=34903529--Post #2. :D

Also can one of you testers check out this kernel:http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=36809372 it looks very similar to the new kernel for the Shift... which is awesome! Please let me know ASAP as this project will be done tomorrow, whether there is a new kernel or not(the end of my mini vacation:()... I would like to update the kernel on here but I have yet to hear back from MazWoz... this other one looks promising tho.

    This is a port of my ROM on the Shift, this community has given so much to me that I felt the need to give back. It is the most stable JB ROM we have and hopefully it will be pretty stable on the EVO too. I DON'T HAVE AN EVO!!!! So I will try my best to fix bugs but don't expect much. And I don't know if there will be any updates but probably at least one.
    This is based on jmztaylor's latest CM10 (unofficial) nightly. Located here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1785498

    > Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue

    Most of Graphic Glitches are Gone. Even though some users are experiencing them. Follow the Steps below to avoid these Graphic Glitches.

    Use ROM Toolbox or any other build.prop editor to change the below values in the build.prop or add lines in the build.prop.

    Make sure---> debug.composition.type=gpu

    Make sure---> debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2

    If you don't have them, add them at the bottom of your build.prop. If you have to change the values or add lines, reboot afterward.

    > Instagram Problem

    After applying the Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue Solution do the Following also.

    ->Enable Developer Options
    -> Put tick mark to Disable HW overlays. (This gets disable on every reboot. Enable it again)
    -> Put tick mark to Force GPU rendering.
    -> Put tick mark to Don't Keep Activities.

    So.... uh.... this just happened

    OP updated with JellyBelly v5: Lagfree Edition... ENJOY!!! Just for the record I am going to leave Alpha in the title of the thread simply because I don't own this device and there is no way for me to test anything... However I built this ROM from an EVO 4G ROM and you don't need to worry about it not working but do please inform me of any bugs and I will do my best to get them resolved. Thanks for using my ROM, I hope you enjoy it (I think you will).
