p.s. i have a question about this rom:
i observed that after booting and unlocking the phone it takes very long time until the phone finally gets usable. is it just me?
It's been like that with every JB ROM that I've run for longer periods of time. I don't have any information about what's causing it though.
and i also tested the kernel page merging feature but it seems to make the phone instable. i had it on for a while and had to pull out the battery 3 or 4 times because the phone more or less locked up a while after rebooting and unlocking it. not made enough tests to verify that it was this causing it but so it seems for now. any other experiences here?
Synergye is maintaining the KangBang kernel as I don't speak C, so I fear I must come empty-handed with this too. Personally, I've had that setting on and off in the past but I haven't seen any noticeable difference to either better or worse.
the tcp buffers size set by setprop for each connection type should be setable already in the build.prop file since ICS. though i never tested it. i used the "save" way via a scipt. maybe you want to check that out and incorporate it the more elegant way into buildprop if it works
I was browsing through device repos that have official CM support and came across this in mako repo. I will probably try putting together something similar as well as possible build.prop additions.
