I swapped this apk for one in magisk module and flashed however it shows up as a white dot rather than a white circle ?

Causes a boot loop after installing under Magisk. No thanks.

HELP! This module caused my screen to go completely off. The screen doesn't turn on. I cannot long press the phone to turn on or off. I cannot even tell if the screen is on or off.
However, if I plug the phone into the computer, the windows USB sound rings the connection. It also plays the disconnect tone when I unplug it.
I can't get into fastboot.
ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
Edit: Fixed. Avoid this module.

If this is causing a boot loop on your device, any other magisk version posted here too. So is your problem.
Anyway, magisk is the safest way to modify system apps. You can disable or unistall any module from TWRP with Magisk Manager for Recovery Mode https://xdaforums.com/apps/magisk/module-tool-magisk-manager-recovery-mode-t3693165
You went into edl mode on accident, just hold volume up and down then power till it goes in fastboot.
Do you by chance have the TMobile version? Just asking cause I flashed this module and had no issues. I couldn't load it though magisk I had to flash in TWRP. No issues at all even used it to swap other icons

Device is T-Mobile flashed to international. This module caused my phone to seize up. I had to do a complete factory reset. Removing the module via uninmod didn't help.
Did you flash via TWRP, or Magisk?
*Edit* I see from a few posts back that you flashed with Magisk. It worked for me (international) when flashed with TWRP. You could give that a try.

So is there any progress for removing the icon for certain screens? E. g. showing on the lockscreen but not ambient display? That would be ideal, but it's probably way more involved than just replacing some system files.
Something strange is afoot at the circle k, took me out too. Between twrp backup and rom zip I was back to normal in 5 minutes. It's not an issue with the mod, it's with our individual setups to put it plainly.

32I have found this mod to obsolete. With @Zacharee1's custom fingerprint application users can now swap out images for their fingerprint icon on the fly.
It's an absolutely fantastic app and it allows users to customize their icons without decompiling their systemui apk!

Download any icons you want, resize them to 174x174 (the stock icon size). Open the app and select your images from your gallery then reboot!
If you're still a fan, like me, of having NO icon then simply download an image, resize it and make it completely transparent with your favorite Android image modifying application. I personally use background eraser. Select the transparent images and reboot.
