Got it working.. Did lots of different stuff.. But finally It's done.. So far.. No bugs.. The old manual/auto problem is solved.. Now everything’s good.. haha
I've spotted something odd.. When I manually copy the files, something happens to root.. Stops working for some reason.. I’ll try to copy files in some sort of sequence.. But I’m not sure of what's going to happen with the camera since there are not going to be all files in there to work.. It was too good..
Hi, just a question, after copying did you check if root working ok? Mine.. I don't know why fails when trying to open a new root app.. For example.. Before copying files from camera, opened root explorer, gave permissions, copied files, then made supersu forget permission.. Root explorer can't get root anymore.. Never happened to me.. Any clues?
I don't have that issue. So here's what i have & did :
1. I'm on rooted stock 244 deodex
2. Followed the instruction & flash this camera
3. Assuming you already extracted the system\apps\ from the zip onto your SD card, copy & overwrite them into system\apps via Root Explorer
4. 1 by 1, i need to change the permission of the newly copied files
5. Rebooted
6. Forced close & clear the cache as per the original instruction if need be again.
7. I did encounter occasional FC when using the camera app though. Relaunching the app usually still works.
If your issue is root explorer, wana try uninstall + reinstall the app ?
Thanks for the response! I got it working.. No FC.. The thing is.. Before flashing and copying.. And bla bla bla.. I gave Supersu the option to allow all root permissions.. So.. Nothing asks me anymore.. And apps that require root are automatically allowed.. Camera working.. At the moment no problems at all.. A little weird though the whole situation.. But.. glad to get it working. Thanks again!
@krabappel2548 in superior auto mode flash does not work if camera hardware button is used ..(it works if i press it half to focus buut does not use flash while clicking the pic) this was also in other previous versions 1 2 3 as well ..

Try placing apk's manually in system. Helps on deodexed version after first install
Anyway, I've fixed the timeshift/timeburst option
It will work in v7 EDIT: V7 is released, from now on no more odexed versions and timeshift will save photos
it's possible you'll need to clear camera data again.

So I can't install it on stock Rom anymore
?
Everything works perfectly fine except album art which refuses to save photos

- Flash via in recovery
- Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
- Fix Permissions
- Go to settings => apps => all apps
- Stop Camera and Camera Common and wipe data of these 2 apps
- All done!
A lot of people seem to have issues installing, so try this:
- Push all apps manually to /system/app
- Check if there are any old camera apps remaining (shouldn't be, flashable deletes them)
- Be sure to clear data of camera and Fully read original instructions!
