anyone got wifi issue with disconnecting for 2 seconds and connecting again(signal is full) ?
The One X has a known wifi issue which htc done a press release about. My wifi got worse when I upgraded to Jelly Bean and I thought it was that. However after I done the 'squeeze' test I found it was a hardware problem. Phone to HTC back in 4 working days! And it works great now
Basically it turned out my hox had the wifi problem detailed in this thread...
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1688538
I emailed htc who then arranged for collection of the phone, repaired it and returned it to me a few days later.
I find I get better service direct from htc than with my carrier
Also I am in the uk if that makes a difference.
Bottom line, the hox wifi has known problems and ViperX is NOT the cause
But I don't have that issue I have signal, but my connection starts to disconnect on it's own for like few seconds and connect again, and he do that 1 or 2 times, and after that he is okay, I noticed that I can't recieve some wifi networks like I did before, but don't know maybe it is all that mentioned in that thread.
Hello,
I've upgraded from ViperX 3.3.x and it seems that 3.7.0 has some kind of built-in headset control? Is there any way to configure it?
On 3.3.x I installed "Headset Droid" and it took care of everything I needed. Now with 3.7.0 the app is actually not working (or only a few seconds at all) - it seems the settings get overridden by the rom, which is really annoying for me
Any help/fix? I'd prefer to let Headset Droid take care of my settings and just disable the built-in control
Did you flash the correct hboot for your carrier as per the cid code?
Do a FULL wipe and a full clean flash without removing any apps on the install or restoring anything from a backup and see if the problem persists. Sometimes problems are caused from removing/restoring apps and settings from a backup.
If you still have trouble on a clean install you should phone htc. If it was the rom a lot of others would have the same issue using it.[
With the headphones in and the music player on I'm fairly sure if you pull the notification bar down you can change the setting from there, ie beats audio, srs sound etc. Is that what you mean?
When you updated did you remove any system apps like htc notes or htc tasks? This usually causes these type of errors.
Hi, I´m having force closes for venom tweaks since I flashed Viper JBx Sense5 CyanX theme. Would some gentle master user take a look into this logcat to see if it´s possible to fix it without having to reflash the whole ROM??
Thank you!
