ABOUT:
Team Exodus brings you EXODUS Rom, coded by professional level developers with additional support from the community, focusing on improved versions of common features and improvements found in the open-source community while bringing new, original improvements and coding with the highest standards.

INSTALLATION:

Make sure you are using a recovery which is compatible with Oxygen 3 Firmware,
as Exodus will flash the recommended Firmware automatically.
For example the NEWEST official twrp: https://dl.twrp.me/oneplus2/
If you use the wrong recovery, your recovery won't boot!

  • Take necessary backups
  • Be rooted w/ a custom recovery
  • Download EXODUS Rom & Gapps for your device and move them to your phone
  • Reboot to Recovery
  • Wipe (full wipe if coming from another Rom)**
  • Flash the Rom
  • Flash the Gapps**
  • Reboot to System
  • Setup and Reboot System
These directions are not necessary after the first install if you use the Exodus Updater, included in the ROM. It can notify you of updates, download, and install them for you automatically.

**This is automated if coming from a previous Exodus build (Dirty Flashing).

We recommend using our stock (preinstalled) kernel for best results and usage of all features!

SOURCES:
Exodus official build:

GApps:
  • Any 6.0.x GApps of your choice, we recommend opengapps.org 64bit

Awesome work Raja.

Edit:
Just flashed with aroma gapps.
Google camera and default Snap Camera works fine.
Notification Tristate Slider works, but it doesnt show statusbar icons. Also, when we move slider from top or middle to bottom position, quicktile still "shows priority"only"

Awesome !!!!
Lived it even when we were testing it and it was damn stable ... Now let's flash the official one!!!!
And as always, my marriage proposal is online ??????

BTW Advice for all those flashing it, from my testing experience of it :-
1.) FLASH supersu 2.68 too, inbuilt one didn't work for me atleast.
2.) Best is to use it with Aroma GApps by OpenGapps.org and get a blazing fast pure nexus look Interface.

Also some tips :-
1.) Hardware button Swap isn't there, but infact even better, you can set actions for each hardware button separately.
2.) Coming from OxygenOS or older firmware ? Just clean flash the ROM. Firmware and everything else important things are already baked into the ROM. ]
3.) Don't flash Supersu 2.67 ... You won't be able to restore apps using Titanium Backup.

FAQs :-
1.) Notification slider working?
Ans. Yeah.
2.) You say slider is working, but I don't see it working ...
Ans. You will have to feel it working. You can't see as status bar icon doesn't change. To feel it, just change the slider position and call yourself and feel it.... [emoji14]
Post to be updated with time......
3.) {Freakingly Annoying Question} Are FPS and LAF working?
Ans. YES

Hey guys announcement, OPT puzzle cracked ..!

Of-course nothing to blame OPT related code while the same compilation (greatly optimized) aosp compiler working fine for all other devices but not for OPT :(

Its like night mare for us not sure what was going wrong.

I are not going to publish the nightly build. Want to make sure 100% perfect with users too.

BTW one of more smooth experience with all apps, scrolling, performance !

but I can share my build which working atleast in my device ... like to have a test on few advanced users devices.

Please follow the steps and let me know your valuable feedback.

    1. Take backup.
    2. flash firmware...!
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24499762636003948
    3. flash this opt build
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=54219
    4. test all modules working as expected
    5. if not 4th step make a clean flash

Once again we are doing our best and thanks for the support guys. here after opt will be more stable and best with its performance.

one sleepless night gave answers to me..!

    So, tomorrow is Friday!
    You know what that means?
    Exactly! New build incoming.

    Highlights:
    - basic perf improvements
    - (hopefully) massive battery improvements (cpu boost (touch boost) is now disabled)
    - brand new wifi config, should bring stability to everyone, resolve all issues and save power
    - Full version of the gps fix, hopefully resolves the issues and makes it a little faster.
    - updates to the wifi driver
    - minor audio fix
    - Doze optimization -> less drain over night :)
    - updated H-Cube driver
    - background apps limit (auto)
    - Fixed Firmware Flashing process (hopefully people from oos3 can now flash this directly)
    - simplified Firmware flashing message while install.
    - other minor fixes

Please be sure to report any issues :)

I am already preparing new stuff for Monday.

Good day all and have fun!

As you all already know, Mondays are good days for Exodus and this beloved OP2 :)

Means, I have pushed heavy changes to be included in tomorrow's nightly.

As I will mostly just name what results from these changes you are free and encouraged to check the device tree and kernel by yourself :)

So a VERY brief recap of what's coming in the Monday Nightly:

    - adaptive Low Memory Killer (yes, we don't rely on fixed settings any more! Low Memory Killer can detect certain scenarios (thrashing scenarios) and dynamically reconfigure itself.
    - further improved task detection in LMK (up to 10 times faster)
    - faster touch response due to my improvements in the touchscreen driver
    - disabling dexpreopt, which lowers build size and allows us to use a non debug art library (faster)
    - above changes made it possible to me to further decrease power consumption without a performance loss (see power script)

Hope you all like the news :)

    The next step

    Hey guys,
So it is that time of the day again.
Today a little bit earlier, my highlights for tomorrow's nightly:

    - Reworked Powerconfig: Big Performance Boost, Battery is not negatively impacted, it may be even improved :)
    - stock RIL blobs, may improve receiption
    - fixed up memory control -> possible lag scenarios are resolved
    - Linux Kernel (base) 3.10.101 -> 3.10.102
    - slightly increased vibration strength (as per user wishes)

As you may have noticed by the changelog, I am always listening to you guys, even if I can't answer everything :)

    Enjoy!

Edit: hope the question about the recovery not booting will decrease, I updated OP with clear instructions.

    Alex
