While off and charging, normally there is a battery showing the percent and a little animation and whatnot. For some reason, on my device it freezes at the first screen and leads to a weird issue when I can't turn it on directly and need to pull the battery, plug it in, put in the battery, and unplug it when it vibrates. Any clue what controls that/how to fix it?
