Waking it from sleep or rebooting? This has happened to me in the past. The buttons take about 4 seconds to start working. I no longer have this problem though.

This happens to me as well, at least 4-5x/day. It is when waking from sleep. You wake the phone, touchscreen input works fine but you press hardware buttons and they do not respond and do not illuminate.
If you put the phone back to sleep and wake up right away they come back to life.

Uh im getting system update notifications but when i try update it bugs out and i have to reboot. Its not the kuban updater its asquare box at top left corner. Y is it doing that?

You may need the stock voicemail apk. unless you have google voice. Think you can set that up to get notifications

Now that we have the default & a clear notification bar, any chance we can get a black notification bar without the gradient of the default? I think a pure black notification bar without a gradient would look classy with the blue icons found in updater!

Yes, I seen that as well. And my install is a week old now. I noticed it happens when I leave an app open when the screen timeout kicks in.
It is like a 10 second delay b4 they turn on. Till then they are rendered useless.

I almost always get it when leaving chrome on and then turning of the screen for more than a few minutes. Very rarely do I notice it with other programs. I've seen it happen randomly on other ROMs, but seems more repeatable with the chrome/kuban combo. It doesn't seem to matter if it's the themed chrome or the market version.

Chrome, yes same here, also seen it in the stock browser, and gmail. Those are the ones I have noticed so far.

Loving the ROM. But I keep getting a notification to update to FL24 and its geting very annoying. Anyone know how to disable that? I don't want to switch roms just to get rid of the popup.

Easiest way I know is go into time settings and turn off automatic time, then set the date to some date far into the future. Wait until the update prompt comes up and click install later. Then reset to the current date and turn automatic back on. You won't get another prompt until the date you chose in the future.
