Yes it's working. I'm working on trying to get the sound enhancements working though. The player plays fine but you lose the lockscreen player function which I'm not to bothered about as I pull down status bar and click into the player. Will let you peeps know when I get the sound enhancements working.

For some reason my equalizer has 15 steps instead of 10 and the Clear Bass setting is always set to -15 and won't stick. I flashed the zip again using CWM and cleared data for SoundEnhancement.apk but no change.

Any ideas?

Everything works fine....

apart from Download cover and info...
SenseME isnt working cuz it needs 'Download cover and info' to work.

When I try to change album cover, it says network error, could not download....

I followed all the steps correctly...
Do you have any suggestions which could make these functions work....

U get this prob because u used Custom ROM. Try this on Stock ROM and It will work like a charm. Anyway, this prob is only the preview error, the quality of sound is the same. Dont worry

If u want to use SensMe, try to transfer your musics by Media GO, it will put them to SensMe library, too.

The error when downloading info may be because of your unlocked bootloader device. That cleared your DRM data :-?

DRM data is some "keys" in your phone. If you unlock bootloader the IMEI way, you loose them forever.

Can you create and save favourites ok?

I'm running official ICS and have put this mod on my arc s and DSP Manager (ICS version found on xda) but i can't seem to save playlists from within the app

The only way for me to create playlists is to use another music player (namely cloudskipper) and then they show up.

Any help or suggestions?

Hi folks just to let you I've had similar problem on my arc s after ICS update and
and mine is not rooted.I downloaded fblix .API and installed.Checked my running apps and noticed it was disabled.I then uninstalled updates and now back to standard with FB like back on music player.Thought I would share and hope it maybe of some help.PS I'm looking to see if anyone has an update for skygo as ICSis being upgraded by sky.Great site by the way.

The crendential stopped working. Also I have 2 arc S. I flashed this on the other 1 and I compare the Music and its the same Sound nothing Changed with the Beats. Also the More is not working.

Why can't i see sound enhancement settings? Are they even included?
Does anyone knows if it's possible to change website from which the player is downloading music info?

Tested in my Arc S (LT18i) Works like a charm ... The only prob is Facebook Likes .. cant get the Like button integrated in the player .. Rather than that .. 5 Stars thanks man :D:good:


EDIT: I achieved the like button to work .. i was moving it to /system/apps but i forgot to install it xD .. Installed and tesded on facebook . Works Perfectly :D

    Hello All, I want to share instructions to make the Xperia S music player work for Arc/Arc S.

    I did not do anything except trying it out and putting all the fix together to make it work good and with my instructions in this thread. :)

    (I will try to mention all the people who made it possible, but if I forget someone please bare with me or I can add later here).

    It is very nice player and has good functions such as SenseME(TM), Market extensions app (eg. video search etc), Music download info, MP3 id-tagger, albumart grabber, equallizer, new widget, nice UI, add to favorites function, very good sound of the speaker and sweep action to change song etc.

    Instructions:
    ---------------

    You need a rooted Arc/ Arc S with 2.3.4 Gingerbread and CWM-recovery.

    (a) Download the pack from below.
    (b) Extract it all and transfer the files to the SD-card.
    (c) Start by installing following like a regular app: MusicWidget.apk, SemcMusic.apk and Soundenhancement.apk (overwrite any present).
    (d) Now you need to reboot your phone into CWM-recovery mode.
    (e) Install via CWM from the SD-card: Soundfx_Xperia_S.zip and start your phone again.
    (f) Then copy these files: FBMusicLike.apk, SemcdataMetaCleanup.apk and AudioEffectService.apk into /system/
    (g) Make permission rw-r--r-- on these files.
    (h) Then move the three files into system/app/
    (i) Uncheck and recheck "facebook inside xperia" at settings (to activate the like button).

    My Arc phone is with .62 firmware and Doomlord kernel v19 and it works very well. :D
