lack of time
wanted to work on camera
but trying it botched up other stuff in kernel.
maybe beyond my skills to do that.
so work starts on 4.2 only now.
lots of broken stuff needs to be worked upon and i want to help FXP team with 4.2 development too
In change log it says everything fixed is that true!!??
OK I tried call does not work, video, camera force closes and I can't see the option to remove the Google search bar anyone any idea ??

bringing AOKP to Xperia
AOKP is an awesome custom Android firmware. (just like MIUI and CyanogenMod).
AOKP is based on AOSP and looks as vanilla as possible, and focusses on lots and lots of user-friendly features. What makes it different from CM is that there are many more user-customizable features.
KANGXPERIAPROJECT
This ROM is a combined work of all members of KangXperiaProject.
AOKP is not officially supported on any of the Xperia smartphones. So we made a Kang XperiaProject team comprising
Supervenom , Championswimmer, Pikpok, mikegapinski
We maintain sources from which we build (not winzip porting) AOKP for all the Xperias.
We are not any great developers (all teenagers). We are just trying to provide users with more ROM options
Our work is not possible without using sources from FreeXperiaProject, and CyanogenMod project.
Changes to the UI / framework / functionality of the ROM is the work of Team Kang

- Copy ROM zip and Gapps to sdcard
- If coming from stock, flash kernel that has recovery using fastboot (not needed if you have recovery) [ you can use the boot.img inside the zip. this kernel has recovery]
- Boot phone, go into recovery (press vol-up(2012) or back(2011) when led is purple)
- IF COMING FROM SOME OTHER ROM, make factory wipe then go into mounts/storage and format system (not needed if updating AOKP)
- install zip from sd card then flash gapps if you want them (kernel is flashed automatically with zip for 2012 models, for 2011, fastboot flash the kernel)
- reboot and enjoy

All the respective ownerships of commits are maintained on the gerrit/github and you can see what fixes are ported from / contributed by whom.
7as with all Xperias, the camera library (/system/lib/hw/camera.xxxxx.so) comes precompiled in the Sony stock ROMs in such a way that it does not depend on many other precompiled libs and can work with generic AOSP function calls.
So using stock camera libraries in AOSP source tree works like a charm usually (yes USUALLY)
For the Xperia V, right now, the stock camera blobs are not working. There is usually nothing like "debugging" on a blob. because it is a compiled blob and you cannot look into it's code.
I admit I have been a little lazy to actually try the camera blobs from the 4.1.2 release (yeah burn me for that but honestly I didn't had time for that last week) I will give the new libs a try
Also we are using a kernel source based on the T's 3.0 kernel (and not the 3.4 kernel that the V ships with even in it's 4.0.4 firmware) so maybe there are issues there too. Well anyways I'll see what best can be done
Release is coming in a few days. I am trying to add some fancy features into the kernel before release (governors, schedulers, voltage control etc that users like a lot to play with)554
