is there no way to make it work on jelly bean?
Hi, I have Alcatel ot 992d with mtk procesor, and I geting force close when open java.apk installed like ussualy. If I try to flash jbed.zip from recovery, app don't apear in drawer. Same results if I try to copy manually /system/app/ to /system/app and /system/lib to /system/lib via root explorer with changeing permissions to rw-r--r-- (app don't aper in drawer).
Is there any hope?

Change permissions to 777 and reboot (wipe any jbed data folder, if created automatically before)

Do you know what happened to that jbed company? Why didn't they continue thier work? I believe it was also taken out from play store(or market, should I say)..any idea why?

It was never on the play store, it was ripped from a phone I think

Jbed an app to running java mid-let on Android device.
installation:
download Jbed.apk from attachment and install it.
if last section not working for you,
download Jbed.zip and flash it with CWM!
I created a signed flash-able package for easy install it!
Tested on my wildfire and 100% working!
you can press on Thanks button and download it from attachment.
you can flash this package on all clockworkmod recovery version (2 and 3 and 4)
enjoy!
