Even if I oc to 1.2/1.3/1.4ghz and I have it UV'd by 50mV, that's still 25mv less than stock 1ghz..I would still be using less voltages than a stock kernel..less voltages=better battery life ... Also I use more battery conservative cpu threshold values by default, keeping the cpu scaling at lower clocks and not scaling as high as often..which gives better battery life over stock also...
But as far as injecting voodoo sound 7, all I done was removed hardcores tweaks to voodoo sound and then updated to the latest, hardcores source only has v4, and supercurio quit releasing patches, so you will have to update it manually based on supercurios github.. you will have to do this in the source and recompile it..
