How to install Kernel and SuperSu via recovery?

I tried to install Kernel v.31 and SuperSu 2.82 via recovery, but it didnt work, got aborted. Anyone know what the issue might be? (both where compressed in .zip )

So far as I tried, you can use SuperOneClick with adb to install it.
But the Rom should be in SD card first, and turn off your phone,
keep tap the back button / volume down button while you turn your phone on, and you will see a screen to ask you to choose the options.
