1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All
2. Find Google Services Framework.
3. Tap on Force Stop.
4. Select Clear Data.
5. Head back to the Nexus 7′s Settings, go to About, and check for a System Update.
I just changed step 3 to step 4 and vice versa. worked for me. Thanks.
do you have to be stock firmware to do this? im on CM10 and trying to figure out how to get 4.2
These steps worked for me on the first shot, thanks! I didn't try the original version with 3 & 4 reversed so I don't know if that would have worked too.
OMG this has worked for me, downloading now, I have swap the 3 to 4 at the second try and it WORKS!
I'm in the UK and this is workingggg!
On stock 4.1.2 rooted.. it downloades but goes into recovery and nothing happens!!!
