Performance and ram consumption really has to improve. It isn't even smooth on he nexus 7 2013
Well, let's see, the Nexus 7 has 2GB of RAM, so 20mb of RAM is 1% and 40mb is 2%. I guarantee you Switchr won't take up more than 3% of your RAM, ever. Maybe not even 2%. In that case, its great. But from experience the 2013 Nexus 7 does lag more than the old Nexus 7, and I have no clue why. Sorry about that. As devices get better and better, Switchr will get smoother and smoother.
I would love to see a blacklist implemented (turn off Switcher's input area when a particular app is active). On some applications (e.g. games that utilize the full screen, including edges) I would prefer not to lose app functionality due to Switchr, nor would I like to inadvertently switch tasks at inopportune moments... Otherwise, this is one AMAZING task switcher! As has been said by other, this is an instabuy when that time comes.
Working on it! Expect this after release. Totally doable, as my other app Roundr does this. Just a matter of copying and pasting some code.
Thanks!
So cool! I always have ideas like this. I'm just going to start emailing them to you and having you build them for me. Lol.
Haha no promises.
Can you make Switchr load from the bottom?
I really want to Swipe Up from the bottom of the screen.
That way it is an "opposite action" to the Notification shade.
Better yet if the up swipe can be triggered from the On-Screen buttons.
Cheers MAG
This one's a hard feature to implement as it requires reprogramming the entire structure of the app.
But doable nonetheless. We'll see. Thanks for the great suggestions!
