Ok so I got OTA updates to work on my ROM with Dropbox (direct download links can be obtained by putting the update files in the Public folder). Worked fine. Now I have another update and it no longer works, I just get MD5 errors. I checked the MD5s several times and they match up exactly. I even reuploaded the update zip and re-entered it into the OTA system and I am still having problems. What is going on?
OK should have the md5sums.exe command prompt executable included with platform-tools. If not just include this in the same path directory as your adb. See attached.
In a command prompt just type in md5sums **name-of-file** it will then output the md5. Use the Mark command in right click menu then highlight and copy the output, you will then be able to paste into the needed field.
