I couldn't get it to install from TWRP, but I think it's a separate problem with my installation of the custom recovery (I've had other problems with it.) However, I got it running by manually copying the services.jar file into the system\framework folder, and it works like a charm.

might be if you running latesed TWRP.
did you ad the extra in Buildprop?

if not,open it in es file explorer or other root browser.
at the end leave on or 2 lines open and add

persist.sys.screen_on=none
persist.sys.screen_off=crt

working on volume boost and some grafic HD
hope to finnish before weekend.

Are you saying if we add that to build prop, it will add crt?
or you have to add & flash zip in TWRP ?

But anyway anyway to update flashable zip For us who u updated to 4.4.2

So I hope you understand that his is only for d-eodexed rom's.
You can find framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk an android.policy.jar in system\framework folder.
