[ROM][MIUIv4][ICS][4.0.3][BETA11]drZMIUIv4-2.3.9-DISCONTINUED[11/03/2012]

my main problem with this rom was languages and ril, for once ril could be fixed if i could ask andy at muiandroid but languages..they were a big problem. unofficial miui sites release languages packs 3-5 days later after rom is released on friday and after that next day again friday comes and a new rom is out . this cycle used to repeat itself and we were every week churned into the same cycle. people just used to ask for languages . i know some people wanted to help me with languages but no one knew what to do and asked me what to do then they used to keep getting into problems and PMd me agian and again. It was eventually becoming a mess and as rodrigo is too busy with his daily life, i was alone to handle it. sorry guys, i need my free time. tried last week but it didnt worked then i tried this week but didnt worked so ......sorry.

We (I) totally understand! I am spending a lot of time myself only on trying to make things work at all, I can't imagine all the time you guys spent on this every week or so. Anyway, thanks for your work. At least you made ME very happy with an ICS version that I could use safely in my car, thanks again!

I did read in MIUIAndroid that the ROM will be sent to Xaomi. But it is up to Xaomi to decide to support it officially or not. They might not support because the official ICS did not come from Samsung.

miuiv4 is based on official firmwares released by the manufacturer based on ics. if u tear down miuiv4 for sgs2, u will find touchwiz framework, mui-framework, ics framework, all in it.

At miuiandroid, they are developing a good rom, ril is fixed and i hope xiaomi will use his work to make an official version.

But for both issues: maybe ask Andy for cooperation. If you work together on a rom, it would be better for all: v4 for i9000 would be better and sooner recognized (looks like sb is making progress of micode). A second point is that if there is ONE rom, it would be much easier to make a language pack. (Maybe ask asnet too)

Guys, did anyone successfully install any FM Radio application on this ROM? I'm trying to install Sprint FM, but can't make it working properly, it seems it recognizes the hardware, can tune to the station, but I can't hear anything neither on speaker or headset.

Any working solutions..?

Is there any battery life focused rom like this one? It was great and i was using it in another language only cos i wanted the battery life and seems like nobody develop a rom with a nice battery life in ice cream sandwich

sad news... but i still prefer this rom compare to other new miuv4 rom.. i use it for daily use and and after almost a month of using it ..its not giving me any problem so far..the most stable rom i flash on my galaxy s speed wise.. i will still use it until best miui v4 comes out i hope it will come from the same developer of this rom.

Me too, I flashed ROM of miuiandroid and weUI, this ROM still the best one for me.
It's stable and good battery life. So I'll do the same

Thanks for all the hard work and listening to moaning Bhuvan! I went back to a stock Gingerbread and rooted it. I do miss the ICS UI, but navigation was quite important to me. Only six months to go until my upgrade is due....
