It is Nice but a very big proble is not recognizing device in download mode.

It recognize in normal mode but as soon as i restart to get in download mode it gets removed.

Did you try keeping the phone unplugged until after Odin is loaded?
Have you tried a different USB port on the PC and cable and rebooting?

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII on TouchWiz 4.4.2 with Wicked X v6.5, Ktoonsez' latest kernel and the latest Philz Touch Recovery.

A Guide For the Perplexed: Odin Edition

There seem to be a lot of n00bs on this thread, I hope this helps answer some questions.

From Android Forums, here is a great definition of what Odin is:
"Odin was software that was first leaked back a couple years ago from Samsung. Samsung uses or used it to "flash" or "install" firmware/os/kernels/radio's onto the devices."

Source (and props to Paul627g for the original post): http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-7-0-plus/172229-what-odin.html

An Odin tutorial (with pictures!) for your reference: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1722686

Qbking77 shows you how to root a Galaxy SIII and install custom recovery using Odin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoEVDgjTTdg

If this helps anyone, feel free to click that "Thanks" button.

You really should venture into the Q&A section and read some stickies before asking that question.

I've asked MANY times before an no one seems to care to answer - seems to be too trivial to waste their precious time..
