Only Qualcomm bootloader, see on the lumia forum if you're the lucky one with Qualcomm.

Everything seems to be working fine except the internet sharing feature on my Focus S running 7.8

Question
Just tried this on my Focus S running 7.5 and my old Focus running 7.5 and had the same good results....except again the internet sharing tweak is not working. This is the one feature I really want to get working. Could the fact that I'm running Straight Talk have anything to do with this feature not working?

SongArc
Hi Heathcliff,

There is a popular game out for WP7 it's called SongArc but it's not running on custom roms, well if WP7 Roottools is installed, I've made two similar roms one with WP7 Roottools and one without, the one without WP7 Roottools is running the game, the one with WP7 Roottools isn't doing anything.
I hope you can take a look at it, because I can't miss WP7 Roottools.

Thanks for you great work,

EDIT : SORRY HEATCHCLIFF, BUT AFTER A HR PROBLEM IS BACK, PROBABLY A LUCKY SHOT, SO NO WP7 ROOTTOOLS ERROR.

is there wp7rootools for HTC HD7S?
Hi.

After deploying the wp7roottools version 1.2 into my wp 7.8 HTC HD7s, I am now getting this message when I try to run the app:

Incompatible

"Your device is not recognized as compatible device. I'm always trying to add support for more devices. Let me know your brand and model and I will try to add support for it in future versions. If your device already has Full unlock, exit and apply root access using the Full Unlock Root Access Manager."

I developer unlocked the phone using Microsoft phone tools.
My phone information:
Model: HTC T9295
Carrier: AT&T
Software: Windows Phone 7.8

OS Version: 7.10.8862.144
Firmware Revision number: 2250.21.40505.502
Hardware Revision number: 0002
Radio software version: 5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21H
Radio hardware version. A.24.0.D4
Bootloader version. 4.5.2250.0(129185)
Chip SOC version: 2.2.5.0

I actually needed this app so I can activate tethering on it.

Your quick response will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Supported Devices

  • HTC first generation devices with Mango v1 drivers (SPL 4.x or lower)

HTC HD7s isn't a first gen HTC WP7 device. It has been brought to my attention that the HD7S IS still a first gen phone. It just doesn't have support with this tool.

I made the setting via registry editor in the WP7 have Zune installed and the lockscreen isn't activated.

Any hints to install the xap?

Hints:
1. Zune - running
2. Windows Phone Developer Tools - installed
4. Net Framework installed
Try to use Windows Phone Developer Tools -> Application Deployment.
If you get connection to device error - try reinstall usb drivers
