Dude how can he give you a definite answer if he himself doesn't know it Oleg and Rebellos are the one's working on the project. And no one can give a definite day or time since there is very less developer support and so much work. Not only you even others are eagerly waiting for a Good Port but we have no other option except to wait or buy Android Phone So please patiently wait.

I have 0 Info from S8530 Porting process....

0 Byte of any usefully S8530 related (Display related)...

Ich schreibs mal auf deutsch...

Persönlich finde ich es uncool.
Wenn man sich zusammenreißen würde und nicht wie Kleinkinder einschnappen. Könnte man wenigstens den ein oder anderen "Workshop" machen...

Ist ja wohl klar. Das nicht jeder genug Wassersuppe hat, um mit Quellcode selber was zu reissen...

Aber die VA bin den Bildern...

Offenbar haben hier einige keinen Bock mehr, aus welchen Gründen auch immer...
Schade ist natürlich, das nicht mal ein Byte Zwischenergebnis gepostet wird...

Weil dann wieder das Geheule anfängt. Das jemand anders irgendwas böses released hätte, was auf der Arbeit des anderen blablaheulschniefundkotz....

Ich würde mir voll ver.scht vorkommen. Wenn jemand volle 6 Monate sich verkrümelt... Dann kurz auftaucht, kurz pupst und wieder untertaucht...

Das sollte doch zu denken geben, was er von Euch hält.

Endlich mal jemand der richtig und sogar noch begründet kritisiert.

Ich muss sagen ich bin komplett deiner Meinung, vor allem, da ich selber Hobby-Programmierer bin und gerne auch was machen würde, nur leider geht das nicht, wenn die momentanen Programmierer des Android Ports sich zurückhalten und keine Infos hergeben. Weiß Jemand, ob die vll eine Google-Code Seite haben? oder geben die ihre Codes nicht raus?

I must say I completely agree with you, especially since I am a hobby programmer and would like to do something for the android port too, but unfortunately can not do that, if the programmer of the current Android port give no information. Someone knows if they have a Google code page? or they dont give a **** to us?

Well thanks, but this stuff does not seem to be very actual for me. Now I might have some things but I don't know where and how to start and thats the reason, why adfree mentioned the workshop which doesnt exist.

Displaydriver wäre schon interessant... wie das funktioniert...

Ich hab damals 2006/2007 mit EF81/EF82 rumgespielt...

Da konnte man, die Displays austauschen... da gleicher Stecker...

Da ging das Spielchen.
EF81 mit EF82 Firmware und EF82 Display...

Die Displayansteuerung war in den Bootloadern UND dann NOCHMAL in der AMSS...

Wobei die Display Parameter in der AMSS Vorrang hatten, weil der Bootloader bloß das dämliche Logo gezeigt hat.
Sonst halt komplett kompatibel zum anderen Gerät...

Wieviel Byte, KB oder MB Differenz beim S8500 und S8530 sind, 0 Ahnung.
Auch welche "Teile" involviert sind. 0 Ahnung...
Also ich meine in welchen Dateien rumgedoktort werden muß...

Als Laie stellle ich mir das in etwa so vor...

S8500

Und beim S8530 siehts dann vielleicht so aus:

Also jetzt total grob und kindlich naiv...

Desweiteren ist natürlich niedlich...

Das die Display Einstellungen aber irgendwo im boot_loader.mbn sein müssen und wir ja eigentlich auch die entsprechenden ELF Dateien zum Reversen da haben...

Ich hab 0 Ahnung, wann die "alten Devs" irgendwas irgendwann von sich geben, bezüglich Android...

Momentan sieht es so aus. Als ob man wieder bei 0 anfangen müsste.

Now LCD drivers has been made by Oleg and are working.
Mikegapinsky is now working on the port of ICS for Wave I.
He will in a second time release ICS for Wave II. As the two Waves are similar (except the screen), it can be said that the two Waves have nearly the same progress state.
Rebellos and the badadroid team keep on working on kernel that is not finished yet.

The b7722 is not even a bada phone. And no it's not possible.

Hello:
I have a 16 GB SD card for use as storage 14GB formatted as FAT32 and 2GB as ext 2 partition 2, but I guess it will be a future problem in the 8530 ICS.

In bada 1.2 S8530, when stuff Gameloft Licenses modifying application, the application detects the failure after resset, changing bada Start application detect by the phone.

There is very little space on the storage device 2 ext 2.¿ Someone can advise me?, the file system (FAT32) requires modification in size to used unit of assignment as another partition ext 2 partition 3 using gnome parted. I have resize it of the partition without would lose all bada applications .
