It works for me.
Check there's things :
- Updated windows
- Samsung drivers installed
- Change USB cable (often issue)
- Change USB port (3.0 is often not supported)

Hope it will work for you :)

uh
tbh, this might be a stupid question, but what exactly seperates this rom from other roms ?
any special features ?
anything ?
because looking at your description, one might think that this is basically lineage os vanilla without anything else
which is
you know

Look at a forum part for a snapdragon device and you will find that there's probably over 30 different AOSP based roms.
That doesne't mean they're all the same. They all have their own "touch" and different "features".
Sure, many of them have same features included, but also differences.
From what I know after testing this aospc I can say that it has less customization then LOS, but it feels very pure, and is also smooth af.
Another difference is that this rom has OMS support (substratum support), which LOS lacks.

I found that rom on GitHub, i was excited to test it :D
I just wanted to test a not popular rom and see how it is.
This ROM don't have a lot of features, a bit more than LineageOS, but it runs well, it have a good battery life. It's just the essential for a daily usage

Thank you for spent your time for A5 2016 users

I actually work on CypherOS for A5 because it's pretty light and fast to build.
When CypherOS will get stable, then i'll build LineageOS, RR, SlimROM, and all that community wants
Just need a starting rom with stable device-tree

    Thanks for the work @KMXSLR
I made a bootlogo for this rom and thought I could share it here.

Please stop with the Oreo ETA's. No one knows when it will boot, what bugs there will be or how long it will take to fix them, if even possible.
This isn't somethig you do in a weeks spare time, so just have patience. I'm sure we'll get noticed when it's getting close.
