I tested 1.4 i think it was very good only missing some things,
like the facebook & call history tab it would be nice if this came cooked in
and if you can make a youtube tab to it would be very nice
Ik had versie 1.4 getest ik vond het wel een goede rom maar ik miste nog een aantal dingen
zoals de facebook & oproepen tab, zou het fijn vinden als deze erin gecooked zat
ik zoek ook al een tijdje naar een youtube tab in manila niemand is hier mee bezig of niemand wilt hier mee bezig zijn jammer dat ik niet weet hoe ik dat moet doen anders had ik het allang gedaan
maar in ieder geval ik ga 1.5 ook testen ik laat het wel weten
Well the Facebook tab doesn't add any real functionality if you ask me,
most of the things still need the App or the Browser version to work.
It can be added to manila easily but i don't think translating it and adding it
makes the world a better place. Since this is a Dutch rom every extra tab needs
to be translated and this brings a lot of extra work, that's why i've choosen to
stick with the things i really like in my rom.
Also every extra tab in manila creates some powerdrain especially when it concerns
a "live tab" like facebook and my goal is to put up a close to stock rom that's tweaked
for speed, stability and battery performance.
Call history is easy to get when using the rom with Cookies Hometab, it brings back
call history to the home tab and works well i think.
What knowledge do you need to start creating your own tabs that isn't to be found on XDA??
