Are your bootloaders unlockable?

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app

I want to say yes since these are the international phones being sold. + they are not carrier branded. I can confirm this evening when my Z2 arrives :)

Note that when and if the Z2 ever comes to the US it will probably have a locked bootloader (NA version). I had picked up a Z1 (LTE model) and the bootloader was locked because it was a North American market model.

I've had every Xperia phone in the Z line so I'm familiar. There was one unbranded version that had a locked BL but I forgot where it was from. I'm ordering a Z2 also tonight

I JUST got the M8 a few weeks ago and had been eyeing the Z1 or Z2 but due to the price I couldn’t get it. Well I just took the jump and ordered one right at the last second. I guess I’ll have to go and sell my M8 soon to make up for the damages. I hope this phone is worth ittttt

I have to say I’m shocked at the price considering it was just released.

Are there anythings I should look for in terms of quality defects so I know whether to ask for a refund or not?
Greatly appreciated.

I looked up the address and its a town home in TX LOL. Check out the street view. I had a feeling Never MSRP is just a middle man (woman) for other parties who supply the product.

I have ordered a couple times from "never-msrp" and have had no issues. They do have a 14 day return policy for defects.

There is an inherent risk in buying a device not sold in the US. I can understand those not wanting to take the gamble so it is best to wait for it to be released at the Sony Store - but it will probably be $700 plus taxes. There is also a risk for these folks selling international devices - the margins are slim - trust me they do not make much. Oh and I know there are untrustworthy sellers out there. I research all mom & pop sellers I buy from.

My black Z2 will be here Monday!

Phone arrived

I bought the phone(purple) from this seller Tuesday, 10th, and arrived today. It's HK version with US power adapter included in the box. The phone comes with Dock and regular headset(not noise canceling.)

The package for the phone is never opened and seals are intact.

Build date 14W19

So far the phone works great.

Opened up the phone at last. It's beautiful and well built. No gaps visible and the camera is dead center. I only found one little issue and it's a blemish that looks to be from the process of milling the aluminum. It's almost non-visible but I spotted it because I was looking for possible defects; thanks XDA for making me paranoid :p You can see the small blemish in the picture where the red box is close to the headphone jack.

Phone is 14W18 and most importantly bootloader unlockable :) I'm happy with the phone and not even going to bother returning it because of the blemish. I would hate to swap out for another unit with no blemish and then end up with one that has gaps and a &^%!$ up camera. I will live :good:

Now to unlock the bootloader and root this sucker. Since you don't loose anything with unlocking the bootloader the sky is the limit.

Do you have the uncensored pic version? :D jk!

I'm happy with my purchase from never-msrp. Mine almost looks like yours in the pictures, except my camera is slightly off. Not sure if I should even exchange this or not. Probably not worth the trouble to do it since I didn't notice issues taking pictures with it.

Maybe in the future and just wait, I'll get another or, wait until Z3 comes out!

How come you didn't get the Spigen glass!! I did for mine!
