Copy all in your sd card and run haret.exe

I did that by copying all 6 fies into a folder 2577 and renamiing haret to autostart.exe then ran it manually and it started unpacking the image but then stopped as it couldn't find a number of files.

Rebooted back to WM6.5.5 all ok.

What is the step by step installation method?

Thanks.

the img files must in the root of sdcard not in the 2577 folder

Make a shortcut into the "/Windows/Startup/" or copy haret.exe, startup.txt and zimage into a folder with name "2577" and rename "haret.exe" into "autostart.exe"

2577 autostart thing didn't work- but i'll retry.

Manual start of renamed haret worked, Android booted,
but reaction is quite slow.
Yet tested on Platinum 4GB SD 133x (read max.12MB/s, write max.4MB/s).
The first tho releases ran quite quick with this card.
I'll now switch to Transcend 4GB 150x and see what'll happen.

Generally i think it'd be a good idea if everybody posted exactly the type of card used, so we can see which ones give D-Two's Android the best performance...

edit: 2577 again didn't work. Manually starting haret/autostart.exe this time leads to needlestripes... I'll take the files out of 2577 folder back to root of SD card.
Fine -now it's booting.
Next try- shortcut.

Don't forget the current version has cache and user image so more read and write action... and i think the card reader from blueangel is not so fast that you can use the full speed of the sdcard!!

ps: i don't know what for an sdcard i have :D but my max. write is 5-6 MB/s and read ???

O.K., so it's just the heap of data... B.t.w.: when reacting, everything runs really smooth- theres just some delay.

Done as written above- Transcend 4GB SD x150 makes it run nearly without any delay...
Did i mention- my Phone doesn't get this warm any more as it used to do with former releases!

Installed ok and running! Excellent work. The alpha system is stable but with a few app FCs to be expected. There is some lag but all my buttons and hw keyboard work amazingly. Now just need to get the Comms drivers working...

Thanks D-Two and others.

Use a different card or make sure that the one you are using is formatted properly in fat. I ran into the same exact issue this morning with two cards formatted the same way one worked and the other spot the same error you describe.

Yeah, your memory card isn't being detected. When it starts it loads the memory card driver and detects the card and the kernel loads the android files. Sometimes you can re-insert your card before it attempts to load the android files or as soon as the kernel loads.

SD or SDHC?

Just to be sure- did you check you've got a normal SD card, and no SDHC?
Even if properly formatted, BA couldn't read it...

LOL, That's a lot of errors  those might make the modem hang or miss a command while it's trying to respond.

But this looks like a good sign:

D/AT ( 817): AT< +COPS: 0,2,"26202"

Is this for CDMA?

I will make it for both ... but for the moment for GSM...

Yes i Know many errors it is the ril from kaiser i work on it :D

EDIT: The brother from blueangel (Harrier) is CDMA.
EDIT2: The real problem was that the GSM chip a mix thing from TI Calypso and HTC is...
and use a absolute different protocol :( like the normal gsm chips...

Hola Amigo!!! Well, I've been trying this all morning. I keep getting the same problem as "Mleoni". At that point, the only way back to Windows is pulling the battery out. I've tried with all files on sd root, .img files on root and others in 2577 folder, rename to autorun, autostart, etc. tried with a 1GB and now going to try a 2GB card. Only thing I'm wondering is if I need a specific win/mobile version? I have not formatted the cards. They are already in FAT format. I've only deleted all files in card. Any advise?

Edit: @ d-two: You have 2nd post reserved with videos. I know its best to read whole thread, but a resume of installation options on 2nd post, would be greatly appreciated.

Edit2: Well I really don't know what I did diferent, but after 25+ tries, its working!!! :) Will test and report.

worked with a new 2GB Transcend SD card, not w/ 4GB Transcend nor Super Talent cards

Test again sometimes is the card not right detected...

Thanks, d-two. I had to wait for a new 2GB SD card in the mail. Worked this time. I made a small donation and added to your Thanks list.

I will test some more. All I am hoping for is the WIFI capability, so I can turn the phone (with child lock) over to my toddler. If she destroys it, I have a spare. Hehe.
