htc headphones redial last number

I've been looking through the thread - and damn stab it with a needle, use a razor blade cut .... really I'm going to start cutting damn it. I have an HTC tita100 (p4000 etc...) and HTC original headphones and I have to start cutting and stabbing to get it to stop redialing the last number ....... Is there a newer soloution to this issue - a little software something?

here's an adapter on ebay...no hack necessary
obviously most dont need the built-in mic but its part of this unit...added bonus
i'm sure it wont interfere with your headphone usage

So we would have ->the phone ->splitter->minisub to 1/8th adapter-> the adapter you listed??

have you verified that this works? (as you know we don't have a 1/8th jack or 1/4 jack on the Titan)

based on my knowledge there should be no issues
these are ALL 3.5mm adapters...which is what we need
dont forget, i'm a mogul/titan owner...i'm not just here to spit in your ear
i found this as another option...and i'll be buying this one this week
look in the features and see that this adapter is stereo ONLY...WITHOUT BUILT-IN MIC
so thereby eliminating the problem yet again
this site also has the best deal on the 2800mah extended battery w/ door $13 or so
and their shipping is flat rate $5.95 no matter how much you buy (us/canada)
spend $34 get $6.00 off
just calling it as i see it

here's another options for the oem audio adapter converting straight to rca
ipods have the desired triple plug style so most of those accessories will work (for the oem adapter)

and here is one more option straight from usb to stereo with the mic built in
this is more of an assumption for working on our phones...but i'd say low-risk

i have a quick question/problem. i was carrying around a touch pro 2 for a while. at that time, i used the audio adapter that came with the touch pro, and a cassette to 3.5mm adapter so i could play my mp3 music/pandora through my cars radio. it worked perfectly fine for me. then i switched to my mogul with a stock sprint rom, and i cant get any sound through the adapter even though the phone itself works fine.

WILL THE PIN 1 FIX WORK FOR ME? is there another issue stopping this?
