Does anyone still has the link to this kernel's source code for v6? The link in first post has the file removed.

Thanks

After flashing, wipe cache and davlik.

If you have a2sd then run the following in terminal:
    su
    a2sd cachesd

    The phone will reboot automatically.

Theres always room for improvement, if you can do it then it will be great

This is a great kernel and I thank you Paulo for your hard work, but I'm more interested in taking the good things from it and informing franco and fserve so they can improve their kernels.

Here's how I see it, this kernel has the CPU Touch fix which helps with battery life and gaming performance. It also supports WiFi tethering on Official LG. IMO francos kernel is equal to or better than it in all other facets. If these 2 fixes are added to francos kernel this one would be obsolete. Again, this is my opinion.

Although I'm capable of tweaking a few things and updating governors I don't think it's worth the effort. I'd just end up copying the good things from francos kernel to this one, see what I mean, there's no point.

Hmm, isn't v5 better? I heard that v6 is buggy...

I never found v6 to have more bugs than v5. Vsync is disabled in v5 so benchmarks are better but at the expense of overall quality. Also, v5 isn't patched to .14.

    Vonpire:
Exactly what bugs exist in v6 that don't exist in v5? Would you please be more precise than "Yup V5 is much better"?

I've found plenty of posts where people say "it's better" but with no decent explanation as to why. Is it just the better benchmarks? If so, then v5 is better if you prefer vsync off and v6 is better if you prefer vsync on. That's the only conclusion I can draw.

    > Anyone still have v6 touch kernel and willing to revive a link?

I think this is it, but I haven't tested it myself. Flash at your own risk. No touch version also included.

As far as i remember his kernel came first, and since the beginning the camera flicker and wifi tethering were fixed, so its kinda hard to believe that he was copying you, but thats just my opinion.

I didn't say he copied me, and I'm not adding you more fuel. Good day sir.
