Love exDialer, kinda my favourite dialer now. Used to be on go contacts, exDialer is so much more straight forward.

For launcher, I am using go launcher ex, as in 240 mode apps in the drawer for nova are 8x7. Plus go launcher allows folders in app drawer, you win some and you lose some.

Is this ROM compatible with 220 dpi screen resolution? I use Rocket ROM V22 with 220 dpi resolution and it's amazing. :D

yea, exDialer is very nice especially with the ICS theme... or the black theme...

Good progress with this build, it's good to try out and play with but couldn't stick to for daily use far too many bugs. Thanks for your efforts hopefully next update solve some of the known issues.

i'm having trouble getting back to a rooted GB rom, so i can start this process over again to get to 1.5 ICS rooted.

I'm not sure if i should be flashing an abyss kernel first then flashing a gb rom, and if so shoudl i do it with cwm or odin, and which flash option to use in either of the two applications.

the specifics are lost on me and ive already made several failed attempts.

I've read through the threads but they all see to be specifically pointed towards getting from rooted GB to rooted ICS and not from unrooted ICS to rooted GB, in the hopes of getting back to a rooted 1.5 ICS.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Again, it is merely the specifc app and the spefic function in that app which i need to knowas im concerned with bricking my phone.

I realize this is all quite soimple once you know exactly what to do but if you have any questions like me and are unable to find this needle in a haystack of threads...it can be quite daunting.

Can you list down the bugs so I can check it out as well.... I don't have much bugs really, so im curious what kind of bugs I should take note of...

Try this thread up to step 7 to get back rooted GB... then you can flash again to ICS or 2.3.6

Forget abyss... start here to get back to rooted GB: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1509703 then follow the below steps :

1. Flash chinese ROM using MobileOdin (tar file)
2. Wait for successful bootup of Chinese rom.
3. Off phone, boot into recovery mode (this part was automatic for me)
4. Wipe cache, dalvik and data (no reboot)
5. Proceed to flash 1.4 rocket - don't reboot
6. Now proceed to wipe cache, dalvik and wipe data
7. Now select restart
8. Setup your google account
9. Switch off, reboot to recovery
10. Clear all cache no need clear data
11. Flash rocket v 1.5

Never knew it would be so hard for ppl to understand how a rooting process even works...

Flashing only the ics kernel either thru Odin or cwm won't fix anything for you. And once you are unrooted, you will never become rooted again by just a simple kernel flash... ...

Guys, i have a problem with my connectify connection. The phone try to reconnect every 30 sec and then says autorization faild till i restart connectify.GB works correctly with this hotspot. And this is also not the modem issue.Can you check it?

I found sometimes I exit the app and back to home screen, the launcher sometimes will redraw (Nova launcher). is someone having same problem too ? I am think it's Nova or the Rom problem? I found this quite irritating .

and any way to solve this ?

I get that problem once in awhile on the lock and home screen press. I think it's that crt thingy again causing small glitches. Anyone get to change there lockscreen's wallpaper with good HD quality instead of blowing up the original content of the wallpaper? I am running Nova Launcher. Thanks and can't wait for 1.6

    O.K. guys here comes our first ICS customer rom.
    This will be a coproduction with eybee, Chrack, nobnut and me.
    Pls, pls dont forget it, this is an open customer rom beta from the first leak of ICS 4.0.3@Samsung Galaxy Note.

    If you dont make a fullwipe after the ics flash, so pls wait for the official ICS Rom by Samsung.
    Note, from Android v2.3.6 to v4.0.3 its a huge step.
    You have to make a fullwipe after the flash!

    If you set all you like, pls reboot...

    How To get Root on ICS:

    If you are already on Chinese ICS Stock ROM or any Custom ROM based on Chinese ICS, then first test if you are fully rooted. You can test that with Root Explorer by trying to copy/paste any file you have on your SD Card to you /system - if this copy/paste will be successful, you are already rooted properly.

    If this test fails --> you are not on a proper rooted Chinese ICS ROM now!!! So follow each and every step from Reb0rn here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=22877518&postcount=182

    After that you will definately have FULL ROOT!!

    Installation Instructions for v1.5:
    After you have checked being on a proper rooted Chinese ICS (see point above!), do the following steps:


    1. If you are not already on a proper rooted Team Rocket ROM v1.4, so pls make a fullwipe (Factory Reset) before your flash the v1.4, then flash the v1.4 and after this make a fullwipe again!!! If you will not do that, you will have serious trouble!!!! Reboot your device afterwards and setup your Google Account! (If you are already on a proper rooted v1.4, you do not have to do that and can directly go to point 2.)
    2. After that boot back in Recovery and flash v1.5 without Wiping anything
    3. Reboot your System
    4. Now you have a fully working v1.5, bloody fast and ready for daily USE! :)

    Our team works in parallel with Windows and Linux. So we have better chances to create a build. (I'm working with Linux.)

    Yesterday I've been looking for apktool.jar to decomile/compile of ICS 4.0.3-*.apk's. Thats really important for us.
    I found only a solution for *.jar Files but nobnut got it. Thank you so much, for spent your time!
    Now we can both. Decompile *.apk files and *.jar files for ICS 4.0.3.

    Warning!

    Dont use the app "Superuser Update Fixer" e.g. for an update of "SuperUser" or dont update SuperUser via market!
    We had already integrated a working app "SuperUser". (v3.0.7)
    Pls use this "old" version and dont update to the newest.
    There are known issues with Android v4.0.3.
    It seems its not the fault from the RocketRomTeam.

    btw if you have a backup (e.g. about Titanium Backup) of the newest SuperUser and/or SuperUser Update Fixer, dont restore it!

    explained quickly and easily:

    This app manage the root rights.
    If any app need root rights, so SuperUser asks you at least once to consent.

    I know, you can disable this "asks" but I dont recommend it. For me its one of the best ways to find out, have I root or not, need this app root or not.
