This tool is a lifesaver.
I currently own a Huawei Ideos U8150 (the unbranded worldwide version of the US's Tmobile Comet), and have had it rooted permanently since Christmas, and it works like a charm. I've also tried a temporary root, which also works flawlessly.
I've run many root apps from the market, rebooted under new ROMs, and even executed su in a terminal to make sure it all works. Flawlessly. Great job, bro!
I guess since the Ideos U8150 and the Comet are the exact same phone with different branding, I guess they can be put in the compatibility list.
And if it helps, I'm just running a vanilla 2.2 ROM shipped with the phone, and no other mods (besides rooting of course). I've also booted up several different ROMs custom-built for the U8150, and they all work - except one of quail's ROMs was glitching, but that was a problem with the Gingerbread keyboard, which is now removed.
