Hi all,

I am trying to upgrade my phone from MIUI 2.4.20 to MIUI v4. I understand that it is necessary to upgrade your phone to Android v4 prior to flashing MIUI v4, so I went ahead and flashed Nik's Project X. Once that was installed, and booted, I rebooted the phone into Recovery, wiped cache/factory reset, wiped Dalvik and then proceeded to flash the latest version of MIUI v4.

Thing is, the phone now hangs at the HTC splash screen. I've tried reflashing the MIUI ROM several times, I've tried formatting cache, dalvik and /system both before and after installing MIUI all to no avail.

Can anyone help? I'd like to experience some ICS lovin' on my phone, but can't seem to get it to work

If possible, a step-by-step guide would be brilliant.

You should have hboot 2.00.00 and higher. The best variant is to install BlackRose hboot.
If you have the necessary hboot and you're S-on - you have to flash boot.img through adb

Best wishes,
