Probably.
I´ve reflashed ERE27 but it´s still giving me an "No signature (411 files) - Verification failed"
Ok, mine started flashing, then i get:
Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Ive got 5.0.6 on, can anyone link me directly to the stock I need to install first, as I can see like 20 different versions :/
OK, for ANYONE who has successfully flashed the update.zip, do you have an AT&T friendly model?
Confim... it's work !
1 - return to stock erd79+stock recovery
2- update OTA to erd27
3-update to FROYO ! (update.zip in stock recovery)
i wish i knew wtf i was doing! i have a totally stock n1, if i tried this would my phone effectively be rooted or does it remain stock thus keeping the door open for any future ota updates
I have AT&T version and mine WON'T flash. I get this error when entering stock recovery though, not sure if its related:
Error: Can't open /cache/recovery/command
Make it unusable?why wouldnt flashing this to moto droid work? What would it do to the phone realistically?
http://twitter.com/ninjarobot/status/14508990484@botteaap my N1 got the Froyo update. My unit was returned with a replaced mainboard from HTC Europe Repair recently. So not just press.
Saying Google is acting like Apple is not helping your argument...at all.a) Editor in Chief of Engadget uses an N1 as his primary phone about half the staff has dropped their iPhones for Android so I don't know why you think they're trying to kill it...
b) I don't like it any more than anyone else but give me one single example of a company who has every made the media wait until the consumer launch. Even Apple, the most closed company in history gives select media preview units. It's just the way the market works.
