From what I remember, I also S offed with JB update and I used facepalm. And it worked from the first try.

I bought a one s, the phone it was not new one, it is sh and I bought with supercid, is there anyway to discover what is my originaly cid ?

if it is sense 4+ and ics or jelly bean go to system > about phone > software info and tell me the software number

it doesn't matter
as if seller supercid , can also change full software so no way to tell original cid
I imported HTC One S from USA it was s off super cid software UK version

It is not now, I have 3.1.3 version from venom's team but if I flash a ruu it is ok ?

ruu check & match that you have correct cid it don't create cid
Any ruu can run over super cid that's why it's called super cid

4-5 type of mid a long list of cid but hardware only two so if someone change mid & cid so no one discover as hardware is same

ruu for supercid

sorry to intrude but i had a few questions regarding ruu and supercid,

i am currently hboot 2.16 (cm11 unoficial rom) and wanted to downgrade to hboot 2.15 for more choice in roms and as i understand from this thread is that any ruu can be flashed to supercid

so:

1) if done correctly i am not at any risk of bricking my phone?

2) i am right in understanding that once i flash the ruu i no longer have supercid?

i ask because the threads regarding hboot downgrade advise not to do so with supercid..

yes supercid & hboot can create problem but I have done it without a glitch
1 do correctly no brick like flashing firmware need 2 times flashing for success
2 no if you flash ruu it don't change cid
Ruu just check cid for compatibility never modify them & super cid open for all
You need a correct firmware better extract from ruu rom zip then flash firmware first then ruu

Htc one s , unknown company

So i got my htc one s and somehow it got screwed , yet i got it from someone else and i dont know in which phone company it was
and now sd wont mount so i cant find which carrier or smtg like that and its not even written the CID on it ... im guessing its bricked ... anyhow CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ?
AND IF I SEND IT TO HTC COMPANY, HOW MUCH WOULD THEY CHARGE ME FOR IT ?

Connect in fastboot Mode, use Windroid universal HTC toolkit 1.1 to read out the cid
