Beta 10 update to CM9 with Data2SD

I did an update from Beta10 to this CM9 version and I had Data2SD script installed without A2SDkiller though. So far it's been working flawlessly! Even my app shortcuts and widgets where all still there in NovaLaucher (Beta10) Just that the widgets where not loaded and displayed the message "tap to renew" and after a single tap everything was back to normal!

Leo512, Magldr113, CWM 5.0.2.7
Data2SD on 8GB class4 with 1GB ext4

Here is what I did:
- Wipe cashe (not Dalvik)
- Flashed NexusHD2-ICS-CM9_V1.zip
- Flashed Data2SDReInstaller1.3_GB.zip

And all is well, see my screenshot. All apps and data still there, "internal storage" is 1GB! :D

Only thing I noticed so far is that CyanogenMod settings FC when I try to change the indicator colour of the notificationbar widget under interface.

Can't really call that a major issue offcourse but I am currious if anybody can confirm that...

- edit: Oh, and G+ keeps force closing on me. But I don't use it so I had used titanium backup to remove the systemapp when still in beta10. So my guess is the problem should be in there somehow and not in this AWSOME rom!

How to make data 2 sd work 100%

****WHIT A CLEAN INSTALL:(i use magladr - CWM recovery touch)****
-have at least 200mb partition and 10mb cache
-wipe data
-wipe dalvik cache
-install rom
-reboot sistem
-run setup but DO NOT SIGN IN TO GOOGLE ACOUNNT
-let the phone settle for about 2 minutes
-reboot
-after reboot go to CWM again and install AD2SDX - AMARULLZ DATA TO SD-EXT ( from here http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=755233&d=1319096938 )

-FIX PERMISIONS

-REBOOT( now you will have low sound issue - it is ok - check your storage to see what is your internal memory)

-REBOOT AGAIN TO CWM

-FIX PERMISIONS AGAIN

-REBOOT SYSTEM ( now low sound issue is fixed and all is good to go)

P.S.: you must have a sd-ext partition for this to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*******WHIT NOT AN FRESH INSTALL gest install the scripts via CWM and fix permisions and reboot sistem TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it should work.

This method of data 2 sd worked for me 5 times now whit ICS tytung roms.

when you install the rom, and reboot, do you get FC on every thing and you just can't see anything but status bar, or it works normally in this stage ?

btw, i flashed back to ndt ginger 2.3.7, and it didn't recognized my sd card, i restarted it and this time nothing at all, i used a card reader to read it on my computer, again, nothing. what should i do about that ?! :(

Now, that's an odd one:
-So far it looks like everything works. There really is not much to see so far in CM9 settings, but I expected that.

BUT: Ever since I tried setting a wallpaper (the displayed wallpaper and the section selected in the cropping tool still don't match) the cropping tool does not show up. I simply get a black screen, no matter if I try to change my Wallpaper or change a contact picture.

As has been posted, the CM9 settings tool is mostly a placeholder with almost no settings yet implemented. Wailt patiently for updates.
Try Quickpic from market. I have uninstalled gallery app completely, is laggy and FCs quite often. With Quickpic, I have cropped like 20 pics already (thanks to the brilliant way of contact pic handling in ICS ).

With a fresh install, just don't flash it right away but make 2 reboots without touching the phone, not that hard actually...
And if you have low vol, just fix permissions and you are good to go, though you might have to reapply the same once you flash another zip.
If you are just upgrading, include the "40ad2sdx" script in the system/etc/init.d folder in the newROM.zip before flashing, as easy as that.

Feedback: G+ is FCing, I have deleted it. I have also deleted Gallery app and Trebuchet launcher as I am using ADWEx. The rest works really well and smooth, great work!!
Will try to put some mp3 files on the SD now, lets see if that nasty drain will come back...

With ADWEX how do you delete the topbar?
Not the android one, the AdwEx Topbar..

No i do not get any FC...only the setup at first it ,,STOP WORKING" but i hit the back button and everything is fine. The only FC i got is when i somentimes using Gallery. Download Quickpic as an alternative solution for Gallery and everything will be OK.
If you have that problem i sugestyou format your sd card (buckup first your wanted data).
