i don't know really... root the phone, use root explorer, get in the EFS folder look for the bluetooth and wifi file, change value, save, reboot... thats all... not useful after all

Not useless , it's few steps more to be more invisible or anonymous
Why we use vpn or proxies
Why we spoof our gps locations
Why we spoof macadress in public networks
Why sometime we avoid to use the same cell phone when changing sim card
Why encryption
Why firewalls
Why serial numbers
Why android or google unique id

Which file did you edit? /efs/wifi/.mac.info editing seems not to work.

Yea .mac.info you can't just edit it , its custom kernel and other flashable .img
