The only solution to this problem is installing custom AOSP ROM.

My second phone is 8.1 official LineageOS and on Standard Api (all settings standard) its completely crashing after the call and not recording too.

So, a multitude of problems.
Right now I cant use it on either phones effectively...

What would be the go to solution in this situation? Use Voice communication?
Root doesnt work, standard API doesnt work (except voice communication, which doesnt work with headphones for me), System Recorder is not available on these devices so it crashes automatically when I start a call.
I'm kind of stuck here.

What's your second device? What settings are used?

Galaxy S5 Neo with this Rom here.

Settings are the same, in Standard API everything standard.
I get crash on Voice up + voice down.

I get a recording (ok sound quality) with voice communication.
But this also doesnt work with wireless headphones. While the phone call itself works with wireless.
My phone partner can hear me, but call recorder doesnt record MY microphone.
On settings Voice recognition and Default, my voice gets recorded but not the other side.

So both phones have the same problems.
Up+down link doesnt work, on one it has sound problems, on the other it crashes.
Voice Communication work on the phone, but not with any wireless headphones.

No, they have absolutely different problems, which may look similar to you. On S5 Neo you may try ROOT method. In ROOT method section try different Exynos devices.
When you select Voice communication audio source, then the app records just your voice from the microphone. If you hear the other side on the recording, then it's captured from the speaker. That's why it's not recorded when wireless headphones are used.

I understand.

On Root on S5 neo it crashes/doesnt record on everything except Exynos 5.
On this it records properly, but again not via wireless headset.
I only get a very quiet indication of my voice, the other side is recorded normally.

When it crashes? Can you take a log?

Pixel 3XL running GrapheneOS (a more secure, more private variant of Android 10).

Two questions:
1. License - Can I purchase a license that works regardless of whether Google Play Services/Store is installed.

2. Work without root - GrapheneOS does not allow root by design. I have installed the app and am working through testing and using it. Thoughts on settings to allow Call Recorder to do 2-way recording on a Pixel 3XL without root?

Thanks in advance for any relevant information.

Can you please let me know? I'm dying on my verizon note 9 on android 9. won't record anything except for thru the mic on speakerphone calls. which is quite useless for most of my calls.

My Verizon S10 5G wont work with "Call Recorder"
