[Q] CM11: Launcher3 vs Launcher Home Screens

Sorry if this info is readily available but I didn't see it when searching.

What is the difference between the launchers that come with CM11?
I see the Launcher and Launcher3. I've been using just Launcher but wondered what the other one was for.

Launcher3 is the CM launcher. Just like its past launcher in 4.3. The regular Launcher is the Google launcher so that's better.

Okay but what are the differences?
What is special about the cm launcher?

It's not as cool as the Google launcher I don't think. Look at a CM 10.1 ROM and that launcher is launcher3 probably.
