I have started building AOSP Eclipse once again! The initial builds will be very very vanilla. This first build that I am releasing is vanilla AOSP.

Big thanks to CM and dhacker as I am using their Motorola device trees and tweaks to get the build going!

I have added a few performance tweaks and App Ops to the build. Other than that it is currently just a plain vanilla build. For root access flash a SuperSU zip as I have not integrated Superuser into the build yet.

Notes
Haptic feedback for some events do not work. (navbar, long press, app drawer)

Just flashed Philz CWM and tried to flash it as well. Still fails to open zip.

Even when I try to extract the zip file on my computer it fails to open.

So is the blur based one dead?

And, as of now, is this just straight AOSP or does it have some moto x features in it (I.e. touchless controls, etc.)?

OK I tried I may have done something wrong but I didn't have root I installed SU. When I came back to Eclipse 2,2 it says I have a Software update. I know it will fail because I have custom recovery. Is there anything I can do to help with it?

I stated it doesn't have root in the OP so nothing is wrong there. If you can download that zip and grab it from cache that would be awesome!

The aosp build is not rooted pre packaged yet as Nitro put in the OP.
For the update yes please get nitro the zip in your cache folder on the root of your phone after it downloads. That is what he needs.

Lol, nitro was too fast ;)

There is no download. Mine did the same thing after I restored a backup of the old ROM. I thought it was 4.4.2 so I flashed the stock recovery and took the OTA. But all it did was restart the phone and boot back up. No update what so ever.

How's the sound on this rom? Any issues with the music player reverting to the back speaker? Nitro, if you come up with a fix for location ,I would like to apply that fix for the gummy ROM which has the same issue
Yap you have the same issue so here's a quick fix, use root explorer and find and_soc_msn in the etc folder, open the folder and replace with this, change permission rwrr, reboot http://d-h.st/hjJ

Sent on my Gummy running Lenoto X

Could someone point me in the direction if a flashable SuperSU zip for the Moto X? I've done quite a bit of searching, but I can't seem to find it.

So when you flash the ROM and the Gapps the last that comes up by it self is SU zip flash which I flashed. Then there was something after it loaded that said something about root and SU should I have done that or is there no way until you do it? So far it works didn't spend a whole lot of time I got nervous when I didn't have root lol. Kind of fun starting from beginning you can always flash back to 2.2. Thanks
I flashed the rom and supersu 1.91 and it did not install the supersu binaries. Nitro will build root into the rom.
