27-May-2012: Extreme patch revision2 , kernel updated , solitaire added in data , menu background changed (if you use a mod please reinstall mod)

I've got an odd one. Since I flashed to the ICS extreem, my apps will disappear from the screen. I have to go into settings and then go back to the desktop, and they return. It's not like they've been uninstalled....they just disappear. Anyone have this?

Edit: interesting.....flashed the new patch today, and so far, no disappearing apps. And, lightening fast. Mr Civato, you and your team are still the best.

As it is I go back and forth between your ROM and "he who must not be named"'s ROM for the USB Ethernet device I use for work. Is it possible to recompile these drivers to work in your ROM?

Full rom revision 2

-FULL ROM revision2 released , sorry for the trouble forgot to adjust auto gps update in kernel. You can also flash the patch

What you mean my m8 THOR , well it is kernel related and for now I can't run his kernel as his rom is different base , I asked him so I hope in near future to get 3Gusb support.
I don't know anything about kernels , I can tweak them and other stuff but not build them from source.
I know I really should learn that.

It works here, but I installed full rom. I will check patch for permissions, but that is for tomorrow.

I have removed all the Apps from the Zip before flashing it. Never need them. So ...
Tab still runs after flashing the update. So i gues all is ok. Background is better but the old one was nice too.

In Quadrant i get around 3300 points. In Antutu arround 6900.
I think in Quadrant i need to get more.

All good with updated ROM

Yet benchmark scores seem worse without any obvious deterioration in Tablet function and usability.

Maybe civato or someone else can help me out here...

Woke up this morning ready to update my bootloader and rom (currently hc bootloader 3.01 and RF1_rv3 rom)

My problem is my device will no longer connect via usb. I've tried different cables and ports but no luck. In cwm when trying to mount usb I get error: E: Unable to open ums lunfile (no such file or directory)

Any advice? Should I wipe and reinstall?

i upgraded the bootloader with the APX tool but it dod not seem to flash a bootloader kernal image. how can I fix this. I cannot get into recovery. tablet boots into rom just fine.

Has anyone here the same problem? I tried downloading this Rom 3 times already. The first 2 times yesterday -which took about 2 hours every download again - late in the evening/night, and just now - when the dl speed was much higher -, some 15 minutes ago.
Downloading goes well, till it reaches 99%, after which it says "Download interrupted". So, no way - yet - of getting this file. Who can help me get this Rom? I really want to try it. I tried downloading the full ROM, as there is no use for me to download the update ROM.
I also tried dl-ing other roms from xda-developers, which didnt cause any problem dl-ing, so it really - my opinion - has to do with the location of the Flexreaper rom.

no problem downloading it here.
Try getting it through Firefox instead, or use a download manager?

I tried it with IE9, Firefox and Chrome, in all 3 i only had the problem with the Flexreaper rom, on all 3 I could without a problem download other roms. So I really believe there is a problem at the place where the files are hosted. Also tried it with a few pc's I have at home here, with my Iconia Tab and with my Android phone. Also here i couldnt download the Flexreaper rom, but could download other roms offered here on xda-developer.

I used blackthund3r APX flash tool, It could not flash Civatos V6, it would not flash a recovery kernel. I had to use an APX file from tegraowners--
CustomBL_CWM_Kernel_Package_0.1.a500apx

How can i get it to flash one of the V6 packages? The guide does not cover it, it just says to get one and tada it is done, not working out that way.
