No, it's not. I'm using activation code I got for WP7 and it works

I think this depends on your connectivity. Wifi or data?
I'm using wifi and everything is updated rather quickly as it should. So I'm sure it's not the build.
And it may be a bug in that product key to activate the ROM I Pdaimatejam (where it works)?
Or where can be the problem?

One improvement that hopefully we would see in good time from this rom is the in call volume.
It's pretty toned down at the moment. Straining to hear in call voice. Otherwise, it's perfect.....well, almost.

Make sure you have a valid activation key. N,ext try to make sure you have keyed in the correct activation key.

Depends where you got it from. If microsoft gave it to you and it doesn't work (after trying re-flash and checking md5sum) get another one from them. If you got it from a website, and too many other people are using it, then it may have become invalid.
You did find the registry editor under "Settings"? Where? I didn't... (running western edition). Is there any working registry editor for this ROM?

- installed WP7.8 with a 4GB card
- did a hardreset and didn't boot WP
- connected both cards to my PC and deletedt WP Partition on 32GB card and copied 4GB WP Partition from small card to unallocated space on 32GB card and set it active
- started WP7.8 with 32GB card
- wanted to reboot into Android and I saw that my whole card was repartitioned from WP7.8 :crying:

Er... why did you do a hard reset and stop the boot into WP? Won't that force WP to reformat the SD card? Let me know if it works without a hard reset

Cause I read that in some tutorial.. But now if I think about it this could be the cause of my problem.. Will test and report back..
I did not correct knowing. But i think, last time i had Android on SD Card. This was my way.
1. Install WP7 to the SD Card where Android will be copied
2. Complete the WP7 installation (make hard reset)
3. Boot to magldr
4. take out the card and open the card on an pc with a partition tool (the original windows tool should be not used)
5. resize the fat16 partition (this is the place where WP7 will be installed)
6. boot up to WP7
7. shut down and see step 4.
8. format the unallocated space to ext4 and copy your favorite Android Rom to
(WP7 partition must be bigger than Android)

This is a different (one-card method) - the problem is in mixing steps from 2 different methods.
Drawback with this approach (and I think you need some more steps as well) is that WP7 partition must be bigger than with a 2-card method
The time before last i installed wp7 i had a 6Gb wp7 partition on my 32Gb card.
I used a mixture of 1 and 2 card methods.
The other card was an 8Gb card and I put wp7 on it.
Then settings/about reset and created 6Gb wp7 partition using 1 card method.
I then copied the wp7 partition to my 32gb card (and, i think importantly, the fat32 too)
Then created an ext4 partition in the middle for nativeSD.
So i had 12Gb fat32, 10Gb ext4 and 6Gb wp7. It worked well.
ATM i have this wp7 on my 8Gb card and swap cards for android.

but i cant run the programes like lock widget or opera or Bing Configurator
i did trust root but the problem is not solved :crying:

-wrong battery state display (displays wrong amount)

hints to save battery:
-disable data connection when you dont need it (big saver!)
-disable 3g when not in a 3g-area (to avoid searching for 3g network in bad covered areas)
-disable my location when you dont use it
-only use wifi on power cord (wifi-n is a power hog)
-disable push mail (manual sync or interval)
if you use your wp7-hd2 like this, you will experience much better battery life.
