I am not using his kernel at the moment. I will start optimising the build once features are in.

I think you used the kernel up to the 0906 release, correct?
I'm now on your 0908 but battery consumption is like 50% higher than on alrogers 0903 which I tested last for >2 days (30% in 48 hrs compared to oyurs with 16% in 16 hrs).

Bye,
Derk

I'll try to understand the cause.
But - no - I haven't yet used his modifications because I didn't want to do it before I have time to test it.

I flashed 08 built last night (09 wasn't our before I went to bed), and I noticed after I flashed there was no more voicemail icon! yeah!

But... Every time I tried to open the play store, it would just immediately close. I cleared the data for it, tried clearing cache and dalvik again, fixed permissions, but no luck.

So I reinstalled Gapps, and it works... But the voicemail notification is back.

Other than that, everything is running better, but my previously reported glitches and bugs still exist (wallpaper, etc).

Thanks for the hard work!

Blasted from my HTC Rezound (Zone23s Newtified 3.2.1)

Battery use

Hi erezak, first of all thanks for giving new life to our Tabs :)

My experience is that all works pretty much out of the box, as advertised,
I was looking into battery use and here is what it looks like ->

I spent maybe 30 minutes of wifi, just tweaking stuff and light use in general.
Tab is in airplane mode, yet most of the power is drained by cell standby...
I'm using Sep 08 build

CM10 based ROM from CyanogenMod Gerrit.
Credit goes to cyanogen, the CyanogenMod dev team, and the CM maintainers for the devices.

My plan is to keep refreshing the nightlies.

    This is for P1000 GSM.

     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

    Dear Erez,
When are you going to publish an update? I'm really interested in it :)

He has barely been on the website since the seventh of December, a few times in January for Windows stuff. I'm pretty sure this is been abandoned.

    Hi Guys,

I really have to apologise. The project has not been abandoned, just neglected.
I'm swamped at work, and don't have the time to update it at the moment, but I'm doing my best to return to it - currently trying to compile my changes back into the 4.2.x code.
