28GB free on my C drive, 15GB free on my D drive and 110GB free on my E drive. So no, I'm not short of space on any of my hard drives.

Thanks, but unfortunately none of that is any good either. The registry is clean already since it's a relatively new windows install, there are also no hardware issues with the pc. This isn't the first file I've tried to open off that particular hard drive and it doesn't have any problems whatsoever normally, except for this installer which I've now downloaded several times and also on other hard drives. Rather odd...

I sent you a zip of Boot Animation Factory. Just extract it in an empty folder. :)

When i select my folder it says the immy bootanimation contains frames that have indexed colors. I've searched but i can't find how to change the color type.
EDIT: Finally took some real time and changed my search terms so that i could find answer >> Photoshop>Image>Mode>RGB.
Sorry. The answer wasn't on the forums and i posted before doing some real searching

Okay.

Love the look of the new program. Can't flash to the device, but I have problems with adb in Windows anyway (Works in Mac though).
However, what's with the boot sound? You add it and it works in the preview, but not when you save it and it's nowhere in the zip.

Many thanks, though :)

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in my program! I still haven't come up with a way to install boot sound, but I can say it will be implemented in the near future.
About the flashing problem, try ticking the UseSu check box, and reinstall your ADB drivers.

it wild be great to have an app on phone that can do all this

The only thing stopping me from creating a similar program for Android is my lack of knowledge of Java :(. But it's an easy language and I look forward to learn it in the near future. ;)

    F.A.Q.
Q: Does this program work on Windows XP?
A: Yes, it works, but you will need the Service Pack 3 update and Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Some other bugs may occur on Windows XP that won't be seen on later Windows versions (Vista; 7; 8)
Q: Why the form flickers when it's being resized?
A: On slower computers, high-resolution background images can cause flickering. Set the background to some of the built-in gradients, or your own gradient, or a solid color.
Q: Boot Animation Factory doesn't even start. Help!
A: Please make sure your operating system is supported, and you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is installed on your computer.
Q: I get an error. Help please!
A: Please explain the error you get, or send an error report. I will fix any error if it's code-related as soon as possible.

New Boot Animation Factory On The Way

I've been quiet for some time now, but I've come out of the bear cave so I can tell you the good news. Boot Animation Factory is getting updated to version 2! The new Boot Animation Factory will be available on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, since it's been reworked in Java. Sounds exciting, right? The program is not done, I'm working really hard on it in my free time. But I'm doing good, which means it will be up soon. Oh, here's a teaser screenshot

For your information, the old Boot Animation Factory will still be available after the new version is out. The program on the image is bound to be changed, this is not the final user interface.

    Teaser :D

Two Androids walk into a bar, and they see a third one coming out of a toolbox... Sounds familiar? It will sound even more familiar in the next few days :D
EDIT: Tomorrow is the big day. :D
