I think what Jocala was trying to say was be sure you are using sun-java6-jdk, not openjdk6.
It was open jdk... my mistake I'll retry tomorrow and see if I can find how to install sun jdk 6.

I had a couple of act-ups, one today and one yesterday. Won't bore y'all with details as they weren't too bad. Cost me some time rebooting, but no lost functionality or missed calls.
I have ZERO signal, throughout the entirety of my apartment. Have you heard of T-Mobile?

Samsung Galaxy W?I installed the rom Samsung W, and it worked fine. Only facial recognition does not work and the battery lasts a short time.

It's like the European version of the Exhibit II with a bit higher specs.
@jocala I can't seem download more than 4.7gb and 266,000 files. I've tried on multiple Linux versions and installed everything like it is in the instructions but reposync still fails.
maby its cause I'm useing a dell dimension 8250. I've just about given up tho

This is really odd. I believe all you should need to repo sync is git and the repo script, and I followed these instructions last night and it downloaded 9.2GB.
If you don't mind, from your cm9 build directory run the following commands and send us the output (just send the relevant portion of history):
du -sh
pwd
df -h
ls -la
history
In other words, let's make sure you're getting a true total directory size and that you have room to complete the repo sync. Like to get a look at your cm9 build directory contents and the commands you used to get where you are.
Also, if you haven't already, try deleting the manifest files in .repo (delete all in .repo except .repo/project/*) or try just deleting the cm9 build directory entirely, creating a new one, and running the repo init and repo sync commands.
You should see:
NOTE: gcc-4.3-multilib g++-4.3-multilib is no longer available for Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit, but should still build without issue.
These instructions assume an "android" directory located in your homeNOTE: On Ubuntu 10.10, and variants, you need to enable the partner repository to install sun-java6-jdk:
add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ maverick partner"
NOTE: sun-java6-jdk <> open-java6-jdk!

This is true. My phone always says 3G, but switches to H when downloading, then goes back to 3G.
Also, even though he's now ignored, Nightlies aren't forced updates. You can flash over the update whenever YOU want. They're just always supplied on a nightly basis in case there have been any changes to the repos. Since it's CM9 there probably won't be many new changes, but its still offered...
